I was leaving the parking lot and one of the cart pushers wanted to beat past me with the pusherThe back end of my car of course hit the cart pusher handles and caused significant damage to my car“The kid said I am so sorry I tried to hurry past you damage doesn’t look to bad.” I asked for report and the manager IDuty not only was a jerk but says right up front “yeah we aren’t going to pay for that I am a
Sure.” Then proceeds to tell the cart pusher to make sure to watch for moving cars.” Days later Cubs insurance calls me to let me know that a denial claim will be coming in the mail.” Because regardless of the kid not paying attention it’s my fault because I am behind wheel and he’s was on footBut I could seek legal counsel if I choose
Thank you Cub for taking such good care of your peopleI won’t ever step foot in another again and I will be sure to share with others

I've been a customer of Cub Foods in Apple Valley since its opening I do all my food, produce and pharmacy shopping there Recently I've noticed a drastic downgrading of performance through out the store I'm aware of the retro fitting and think it a good idea considering the increase of competition in the area, however this is not what I'm referring tothe concern that I'm addressing is the lack of quality, service, product and selection the employee service is changing, the people seem to be "ghost walking" through out their jobs, it appears that there has been a huge turnover in help and most don't know what they are doing the produce deptis a wreck...foods are allowed to rot on the shelve, reciently I attempted to purchase leeks .....all were sitting in about 1/inch of water and were rottingOranges were rotting on the shelf, not good and I could not find a number of "brands" that i've been purchasing for some time, I was informed that Cub has reduced their sku's by about 10,units All this is certainly causing me to use other competitors One employee suggested that I contact Cub Management and let them know of my observations and concerns...I'd like to continue to use"My Cub" however it is becoming difficult to do so Please help

Cub foods now has online coupons and Friday freebiesBefore I go shopping I go online and click on those couponsMore often than not, the coupons do not reflectI make sure that I get the size and number of items that the coupon reflectsA few times even the Friday free item does not reflect as being freeOne time in reviewing my receipt I found that almost twenty dollars had not been reflected with online couponsIt doesn't seem to matter what cub I go to, I have the same issueAnd more often than not the employees including the managers have no idea what the Friday freebie even isThis is an unacceptable business practice and advertising

This is for the Cub Foods location in the Midway on University Ave in Saint Paul:
I work at an organization that finds employment and does job related programs for people with disabilitiesEvery couple of weeks, we go to this Cub to stock up on some pop to provide to our clients, and we’ve been doing this for yearsWhen we do go, we always bring our clients with us, as it helps them to integrate into the community and gives them experience in the communityWell today, they had a horrible experience
My clients with disabilities and I loaded a cart with pop and went to check outWe have a tax exempt card with this location, as we are a legitimate 401.corganizationWe’ve never had problems with this until todayOnce we got to the register, we gave the lady the tax exempt cardShe didn’t know how to run the card so she called her manager overHer manager comes over, looks at the card, looks at me, and then proceeds in a rude tone to say, “We don’t do tax exempt on popSorry buddy, you’re going to have to pay your taxes.” And mind you, this is RIGHT IN FRONT of my clients with disabilities! I don’t even know if it’s legal to withhold tax exemptions for a specific productThey didn’t even run our tax exempt cardI did not make a fuss, because I did not want to set a bad example for my clients, so I bit the bullet, paid, and leftOnce we got to our van, my clients expressed that they knew that there was something fishy and wrong about how we were just treated, and one of the clients commended me for my tolerance and ability to remain calmWe then went next door to Walmart because they have clear American pop and Cub doesn’tWe were greeted with smiles and we had no problems using our tax exempt ID there
I got home and I called another cub location closer to my house and they told me that they didn’t have a problem with using a tax exempt code for pop, and that they don’t know why the midway location would’ve said something like thatBut I know whyThey didn’t want to deal with us, and they didn’t want to pony up a mere $to sales tax to help provide pop for some friendly people with disabilitiesAnd honestly, I am an Asian American and I believe there may have even been a race issue with that white managerGood job midway Cub location, we can clearly see your heart and where it stands
Please do not support this locationShop at another Cub or even the Walmart and target that are next doorAnd if a higher up at this Cub is looking at this review, please train your staff to have more respectful interactions with customers, and honor your tax exempt card holdersFrom now on, we will be buying pop next door from Walmart, and they can get our $300/month in pop sales
