Upon arrival, I took notice to a deplorable homeMet the customer and we walked through the house and talked about the work they were looking to have doneImmediately I knew these people had been miss-informed and misled regarding what they had just purchased, but did not want to offend their discretion on their home purchaseShe discussed her budget which was extremely small, but we had come up with an agreed price based on the scope we were to provideI took this job to help her get the house at least in a state that they could start their workWe were not there to provide a FULL rehab, they did not have the funds, but certainly ANY one who would see the house would agree it needed everythingI was merely trying to help her with the major issue that she had which was the support posts, beams and joists, to get the subfloor as level as possibleI attached a copy of the contract to this letterInitially on my contract was going to charge her up to $7,000, but I felt bad that they were limited on funds and ended up crossing off the $and going with MAX of $6,(for over $10,worth of work, I believe it was more then fair) had one full time crew on-site and a part time crew (my brother and one other laborer) for one day they worked on one of the bedrooms.AS for her claims of the guys smoking weed, l addressed that issue immediately and I was told they were smoking [redacted] cigars, on their breakI can tell if someone is/has been smoking weed, there were no signs of that at all.AS for her claim of me getting confrontational? I feel as though that is how she was addressing me with all of her claimsWas I defensive YES, Confrontational NO.I agreed to send the guys back to make the repairs she had claimed needed addressedWe addressed them and stopped my contactIf I hadn't she was continuing to add things that were irrelevant.We have pictures of everything we did.I feel this is a case of, FishingThey are in over their heads and have no more money and are trying to hurt someone who was trying to helpREGRET EVER taking this jobHer claims are outrageous and incredulous.PER CONTRACT THIS IS THE WORK WE PROVIDED:Tore out entire subfloor on first floorReplaced and/or re-braced cracked floor joistsReplaced/added support posts and beamsinstalled ALL new subfloor throughout using framing air nailer and ScrewsInstalled NEW AMP service panelinstalled new service Wire*Installed new meter base*Installed new weather headSupplied owner with Countertop with sink, extra L shape Corner Countertop, and Several good Condition used lite oak wall cabinets[redacted] Good used tub*Removed ALL debris PLUS a pile of their trash from work site (*these items were at no charge, and valued at over $1000.00)Work performed after her claims:Installed junction box in basement to repair wiring that was existing and in bad shape (made her aware of this early on)Replaced existing deteriorated wiringRan new [redacted] plumbing and installed new shut offs for hot water heater, the existing plumbing was already cracked from the home not being winterized.Re-Supported a few joists in basement [redacted] and I had a conversation in the kitchen with regard to the sink base, I told her I did not have one and I could not locate a good used one and there wasn't enough money to purchase a new one which would not match the wall cabinets we suppliedShe agreed it was okSO in turn supplied Extra wall cabinets and Extra Counter topsThe tub was never promised or part of the contract, just had one and told them it was used but that they could have itlt only needed cleaned it was in my warehouse.To recap, we did the full scope of work PLUSThe budget was tight from day one but we finished the workThey painted their house prior to demolition, discussed with them that the walls may crack or get scratched from the type of demolition that needed doneWe went back and patched the walls that got scratchedThe electric service panel was installed directly above the old service panel in first floor as opposed to installing it in the damp basementOne, easier to get to for owners and two, it was a better placement due to dampness in basementIn the end, the Work was done, the repairs to her claims were corrected and she was supplied with more then contractedThere will be NO refundI am prepared to defend my work and this contract in a court of lawAnd I will also pursue a slander case against her as she went on [redacted] and said horrible things about me personally and my business.If there are any further question please Contact me at [redacted]

There is simply nothing more to say. He has tried to make himself look like a victim. We can go back and forth but he is completely lying and there's no point anymore. I have plenty of evidence of him voiding his contract. I have contractors, electricians, and a plumber who were all there before his crew started, and after. They are willing to testify that his work is horrendous. My home isn't properly supported. They destroyed my walls, my plumbing, my electric. Him claiming that pipes were cracked due to the home not being winterized just easily shows the things he's making up. This house was never vacant. It was occupied up until we purchased it and the plumbing and everything worked fine. The only issue we had was the electric not being strong enough which we had an electrician in to fix. As far as him being upset about the reviews we left on [redacted], we said nothing that isn't true.
