Complaint[redacted] the agent is very disrespectful talks to current tenants and future tenants with harsh tone, she makes deadlines that she do not meet.The early part of March I went to the agency and applied for a two bedroom property for $450.00 a month. At that time I was approved for the property paid $40.00 application fee and $425.00 towards an $900.00 deposit. the beginning of the next week I paid the balance of $475.00 which was the remaining balance. She then explained to me that Housing will start the process of my paperwork and they would lay new carpet and fix the unit. After a week or so of back and forth conversation the inspector from housing comes and inspect the property there is no stove and three other things that was not passing. The housing inspector calls me after I left him numberous messages and he tells me that it didn't pass due to three things and a stove not being in the property for him to check he checked the property on a Monday and sent the report in Wednesday morning to the agency. I call [redacted] and ask her about if she's dealing with Section 8 why it wasn't a stove put in the unit. She says that she doesn't have to explain that to me and let her do her job(but all the while insuring me that these things would be done before inspection even took place). I see I wasn't getting anywhere with [redacted] so I asked to speak to the owner and she refuse me to I even asked for his/her number or a corporate number to see if I could get someone else to handle this matter she still refused and hung up. I was so heated I call directly back and asked to speak to [redacted] to try and get the boss or the corporate number after talking to [redacted] and she couldn't help she disclosed his name but never gave any contact information. About ten minutes off the phone with [redacted], [redacted] decides she want to call and says that she set up an appointment for the mainatence man to fix the property and made arragements for the inspector to come back out that Tuesday to reinspect and then I could come and get my lease and keys. Here it is Wednesday it's still no stove and the property hasn't even been worked on. So now I called her back and she still telling me that she has set an appointment up with the inspector for tomorrow but after talking to the inspector he has never spoken to [redacted] and would go out just as soon as he do and let me know about the inspection. Why is she lying about this when she has my money and has had it over a month if it don't pass she needs to return my money so I can go elsewhere and live it not just me it's my two children involved as well.Desired SettlementIf the agency can't get the property right I would like a refund of my money so I can move elsewhere. I haven't signed a lease or received any keys at this time.
