(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The response I received from [redacted] ***, and in general from Rentals Waikiki LLC, is not even REMOTELY satisfactory I do not accept her response, for the following reasons: I ended up having to RESOLVE this myself, by calling my bank to get a reversal for the fees that [redacted] was blatantly refusing to give back to me She refused, initially to even attempt to resolve this issue, and stated she did not intend to give me my deposit back, in the amount of $I then told her clearly I would be pursuing this further under the law, if she did notShe then proceeded to completely ignore anything I said about pursuing this further and demanded an 'apology from me'I then went to my bank, MYSELF to get my money back, and got a reversal on the amount for the deposit But, I did ALL of this, with NO help, no apology, NO co-operation, and no attempts from [redacted] on her end to help me recuperate my money back I therefore on this basis alone- of having to find a lawyer, having to call my bank to handle this BY MYSELF, because [redacted] was refusing to handle this circumstance, and had told me she intended on keeping the deposit and that in her words, the contract stated she could(Which it did not)- MUST not accept a measly attempt at an apology that she is ONLY listing here on the Revdex.com [redacted] DID NOT attempt to reach out to me, or otherwise help me for a long period, UNTIL I started reporting her to the appropriate places, including the Revdex.comSHE ONLY bothered to care about what was going on with this situation, and ONLY bothered to attempt to call me back finally, or email me back properly, ONCE she saw that SHE was affected In the moments leading up to this, when it was just my money at stake- she did not care, or otherwise bother to attempt to care, UNTIL it came to the point where now it was HER business and her situation being affected I cannot accept a measly few words written to the Revdex.com, when she had the chance to directly talk to me for WEEKS and to resolve thisI will not accept her 'attempt' to LOOK like she is fixing this as well, AFTER the fact [redacted] CLEARLY knows that I got my money back, because I told herI told her thatBut she proceeded to send me a check that means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to meWhat am I supposed to do with it? It's too little, and too lateI can't deposit it anyway, when I already got my money back through OTHER means...no thanks to her Upon sending the check back as well, there was no letter or nothing written in the package to apologizeJust a checkThat's it So [redacted] 's attempts to appear as if she is 'trying' to resolve this are not actually even genuineI already communicated with her that I got my deposit back, and that I did not want anything to do with her after all of this, and after dealing with her ignorance toward this matter She then proceeded to tell me she'd send a check anyway- even though it's no use to me nowSo furthermore she's actually caused me even more stress with the stupidity of this, honestlySeeing that package only further made me feel compelled to come here and state EXACTLY how [redacted] attempts to appear as if she was somehow genuine in her attempt to 'fix' this, but the reality is...I haven't gotten a PROPER, full apology from her I had to work HARD to get the money back BY myself, while she completely ignored ALL of my emails asking for it back, and completely ignored ALL of my emails to her, where I clearly defined the actions I would take next if she continued to ignore me [redacted] is riding an excuse train, and is trying to get the Revdex.com and myself to accept it For that reason as well I will not accept a few measly words written here as some kind of 'resolution'All she's said to me, since she finally decided to try and deal with it- is that she doesn't like to be disrespected....that she was busy on a vacation and her internet was bad etc All I have heard are excuses after excuses, and still she is blaming me somehow in all of this I sincerely hope that NOBODY ever rents a rental unit from [redacted] after this experience, especially with everything I have already said when I submitted this report initially The ONLY reason [redacted] emailed me back was because, in her words- she saw emails of complaints against her That's the ONLY reason she even bothered responding....when she could have dealt with me directlyShe also never bothered to even remotely help me get my money back, like I already said If you look closely at [redacted] 's response and apology here, she is actually not even talking to ME eitherShe's clearly just apologizing to the Revdex.comShe does not directly speak to me and say to ME, that she's sorry All of her words in this apology are directed at a person other than myselfNowhere does she directly attempt to reach out or talk to me here either to clearly state that she recognizes the problems she caused, and that she is PROPERLY accountable and responsible for the fact that I even had to go through all of this to begin with! I can't accept something like this, with the stress, and time, and legal concerns that came up because of her

I will try to explain you this situation one more time because no matter what I do- we just cannot find mutual agreement. Please see the steps I took to solve this issue:

The response I received from [redacted], and in general from Rentals Waikiki LLC, is not even REMOTELY satisfactory.
I do not accept her response, for the following reasons:
1. I ended up having to RESOLVE this myself, by calling my bank to get a reversal for the fees that [redacted] was blatantly refusing to give back to me.
She refused, initially to even attempt to resolve this issue, and stated she did not intend to give me my deposit back, in the amount of $2200. I then told her clearly I would be pursuing this further under the law, if she did not. She then proceeded to completely ignore anything I said about pursuing this further and demanded an 'apology from me'. I then went to my bank, MYSELF to get my money back, and got a reversal on the amount for the deposit.
But, I did ALL of this, with NO help, no apology, NO co-operation, and no attempts from [redacted] on her end to help me recuperate my money back.
I therefore on this basis alone- of having to find a lawyer, having to call my bank to handle this BY MYSELF, because [redacted] was refusing to handle this circumstance, and had told me she intended on keeping the deposit and that in her words, the contract stated she could. I received your letter yesterday after traveling overseas. I had limited Internet access while traveling and I am sorry I did not respond to my customer's concerns in a right and timely way.I never had an intention to keep the money and I contacted the customer as...

soon as I come back to the US.I am sending the whole amount back to her including the deposit and I am really sorry for the inconvenience that I had caused for all of us.
I have been renting out my condo for 7 years and customer's satisfaction has always been my priority. I never had an incident like this before and I hope we can solve this situation in a positive way for both parties.
