Horrible experience I will never forget, my realtor was *** *** I came to him to find a 1/bedroom apartment for me and my year old sonWe found a place the same day and I gave him $deposit and told him I will be moving in on 10/6/2016, he said fine just bring the rest of the balance and I give u the keysSo I was like perfect I moved out where
I was had all my stuff in my car to move in on 10/There was a hurricane the day I was suppose to move in and he advised me I couldn't move in because it was missing a refrigerator and the workers were sent home and I told him I really didn't care I just want to move inI was able to get the rest of the balance to give to him to move in so he said he will move me in next door that's bigger and a refrigerator I said okThan he said he has to Submit my application to management, I didn't think anything of itFrom sitting in the office for about an hour he comes to me and said I've an eviction and I can't move inI was like excuse me, matter of fact why wasn't this done weeks ago when I gave you the deposit and then I can figure things out with the previous landlord to handle the things and prolong my stay where I was staying; he didn't have no answerSo on hurricane day 10/I became homeless with my year old son and had to use part of the money that I was going to put in a place; to be used in a hotel for the time being He even took me out the office so I don't make a big scene, so his boss won't question him on what's going onHe gave me my deposit back and didn't even care what I was going to do especially with a year old sonIm devastated and I have no family down hereWhatever you do, if you will be looking for an apartment with them make sure they process everything right than and there so if any complications arise you will be able to handle in a timely manner
