This home had several contractors working in the home at the same time my company was thereThe home owner had complaints against several of the contractorsAfter many attempts of trying to resolve this issue , our company had agreed to release the lien and end our business relationship with the home owner

The foreman called me on Feb
and said he was taking it on himself to try to fix the issues because he felt badHe implied the owners of the company didn't knowHe then said the reason they walked out on the job and didn't come back was because they were angry about work a separate contractor had completed for me, which was shoddyI told him my business with other contractor had nothing to do with Repair MastersI had asked Repair Masters to complete THEIR work in a satisfactory manner which they refused to do, but for the record, the other contractor had resolved the issuesHe then started complaining "well you had a known stripper in your house" I can only assume he was talking about the girlfriend of the man who did some work at my home, who was there sweeping and cleaning up after himHowever, I had no knowledge of her being a stripper and, even if I had, it was not relevant to Repair Masters not finishing the contractHe asked me to pay more money - - - half the remaining balance of the contract - - for the work not doneI told him the owner's son, *** ***, had offered months ago to "call it even" and have me sign a mutual release but we declined because we would be out of pocket $I said changing that offer to one where they want me to pay $made no senseHe said "Phil never made you that offer." I advised he had, indeed, made the offerI said we had moved on and hired another contractor to finish the workWe had reported them to the Revdex.com and agreed to take the financial loss, provided *** *** signed a document stating my contracts were paid in fullHe said that Repair Masters offer had always been and remained pay half the balance on the contract - they would not change anything or negotiateI advised I would not pay for work never completed or done so poorly that it had to be redoneI also advised that the lien they had taken out on the home was fraudulent and unless they removed it and settled this dispute in line with the Revdex.com, nothing would change and I would take further actionWe would accept *** ***'s offer of us not requiring more work from the company and the company signing a document that the contracts had been paid in full and lien waiver removedHe began yelling at me about the stripper again, the shoddy work the other contractor had done, and us refusing to pay any more moneyI remained calm and he finally calmed down enough to say "I'll take this to Phil, but it won't flyWe lost money on the job." (Previously this same man told me they would make a profit on the job even if they finished it completely and I didn't pay them!) He said something to the effect he was sorry he even called and hung upOverall, the majority of the phone call was me being yelled at by the job foreman and being told they wouldn't negotiateI don't call that negotiatingNo one has contacted me sinceFurther, this needs to be resolved by the owners or principals of the company, not by a generic employee of the company who does not have the authority to make a dealOf course now we know he only called so Repair Masters could tell Revdex.com we were in negotiationsWe are not
