Hi Revdex.com,I wasn't able to add any additional notes to this complaint. I wanted Mr. [redacted] to be aware that this issue has been resolved. Just now we finally received a response from [redacted] with Safe Home Security. They are the company that should have received the complaint not Republic Alarm. We haven't done anything wrong. Safe Home has been drafting from his account and they have not been servicing his account or have they provided him with any kind of service to be billed for. Below is a copy of the email that [redacted] sent.Subject: RE: Replacement Accounts for  [redacted]From: [redacted] <[redacted]>Date: Thu, June 02, 2016 11:17 amHere is the tracking for the 2 agreements  that you wanted canceled and sent back.  Fed ex[redacted] I canceled both accounts ([redacted] and [redacted]) in our system.I repaired any negative reporting on these clients credit reports for non payment.I sent a refund to both clients

Dear Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]Please accept our sincere apology. We are very sorry for the issues that have occurred. It was clearly a mistake at our end and not one we take lightly. We can certainly sympathize for this frustration.  I understand from the staff that error occurred due to...

miscommunication in our office. As a result of this and in order to prevent this from happening in the future, new procedures are being put in place. In the meantime, we have mailed a refund check in the amount of $227.22 today. We hope that this will be sufficient to correct the error and address any inconvenience this may have caused you.We thank you for bringing this to our attention. It will help us improve our operations and services. We very much appreciate your business.If there are any other issues that need to be addressed, please don’t hesitate to contact our office.

I verified with the owner that the refund was sent through bill pay on 12/06/17 in the amount of $108.22 and processed on 12/11/17 confirmation #[redacted] Copy of the transaction is attached. We have reimbursed all of the over charges and issued a courtesy month. As stated before per our conversation/emails you agreed with all the credits/refunds that we processed and was happy about the courtesy month. There are two options available to cancel the terms of the contract (attached) early. 1. System/Terms can be transferred to someone else and they can assume the remaining terms of the contract. They will charge you for the last month of service. 2. Pay the early termination fee which is $1,569.19 ( $54.11 x 29 months left). Please let us know which option you chose to go with. I do hope that you will give us a chance to continue taking care of your account. Again I apologize for all the issues, the owner was trying to get it resolved quickly. [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I did receive my refund in the form of a check. In which you all was not clear if you sent a check or deposited it in my account. But I still would like to cancel my contract with Republic Alarm. I feel doing business with you all has been more complicated than usual and I’m very unhappy with this company. I would like my contract canceled with no cancellation fees or charges. Please let me know once this is done.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11448210, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute. Please read previous response to this reply. Republic Alarm is and was at fault for providing Safe Home with my account details and bank account info. As stated before when trying to resolve the issue alone, I was not getting any response or actions from either company for months.  I no longer want to do business with Republic Alarm and risk this situation from happening again. It was Republic Alarms responsibility to resolve this matter and it took this to get any action. I do not prefer to go back and forward with this. Please send official documents of release from both companies and uninstall your equipment.
