January 28, 2016Dear Revdex.com:In regards to complaint no, [redacted] ,One of our call center ad taker's dealt with this customerThis is his account of the situation.The customer placed an ad online himself thru our website and paid for it with his credit card.Several weeks later the Accounting office received a dispute from the customer's credit card companyAfter filling out the paperwork showing he himself filled out the info to place the ad and entered his own credit card information to pay for it, we failed in keeping the payment and we were forced to refund him the money backThis now meant that the ad was unpaid and our Accounting office sent out an invoice for the customer to payThe customer then left a message on one of the accounting voicemails, which was forwarded to the ad takerThe ad taker called him back and the customer stated that he received a bill for $134,£and wanted to know whyThe ad taker explained that we received the letter from the bank and refunded his card the balance that was charged but since the ad ran with his approval he would need to arrange payment in some wayThe customer continued to explain that It wasn't fair that his day ad cost more then his The ad taker explained that customers can place ads for any length of time but packages are set up for specific parameters and that contacting us directly ensures that that happens.The customer started to argue back with our ad taker and the customer explained that he was surprised that he received the letter since they spoke regarding thisHe stated he placed the grievance with his credit card since he felt It was unfair and not because he felt it was without his permissionThe ad taker apologized for that feeling but it is the way our process is set upThe customer said he would send a check in but he would also be writing a letter to the Revdex.comThe ad taker explained that if he contacts us directly, like he did last week, we would ensure he received the packaged rateThe customer thanked the ad taker and stated he will send the check inAfter that no check wag sent in so the ad taker placed another call to the customer.Republican Herald Is committed to customer satisfaction and as so we and the customer were able to come to a suitable compromise wherein the customer paid a portion of the bill and we credited off the remainderThe customer ended happy and has continued to advertise with us and will continue doing so in the future.If you should have any questions, please contact me.Regards,Kathl B
