Prior to receiving this notification we contacted Mr*** and explained to him that it was not a defect in the product but most likely due to a change in design of the nock. His first set of nocks were extremely tight on his string of his Mathews bow over time they most likely wore down this
sectionDue to the tightness on some bow strings we adjusted our design to fit a wider range of strings from many bow makers. He did not test fit the nock prior to using them in the field where he had the issue of the arrow coming off the string. We have no way to determine why his arrow came off the string at this point but were willing to replace his nocks on initial contactIn our follow up conversation on Friday October 27th I explained all this to Tim and was able to set him up with a Mathews Dealer who is performing the needed repairs to his bow at no cost to Tim. We have not received any word back that the repairs have been completed at this point, but they were going to have to order parts. We are surprised to receive this even after trying to go above and beyond for this customer. Hopefully this was filed before we were able to reach out to him to try and correct this issue
