Firstly, I apologize for the delay in response, your post was received while I was away on vacation Being the first day back I am responding now.I have reviewed the complaint made by the tenants of *** *** Ave, Columbus, Ohio; *** ***.*** *** has been a tenant and resided
at *** *** Ave since 05/30/and has always paid her rent by mailing in a money order, without failWe in turn would then nail her a written receipt for the rent, via post She has never been late or called for any special treatment, *** REALTY has never had cause to call *** *** and ask when the rent would be paidShe has been considered a good tenant.In December of this year the usual rent check was not received from the tenant and it was assumed by myself, and my assistant *** ***, the rent was delayed due to heavy mail We continued to keep watch for her rent check via post when we received a request on or about December, via text message, to “…please send a receipt for her rent ASAP.” I replied by text message: “To stop sending text messages to my personal cell phone, that we did not receive her rent and therefore have not sent a receipt.” She then called the office and explained the check was mailed in early December*** asked her to simply provide the receipt that comes with the money order and she did I went to *** *** to take a photo of the receipt The tenant and her husband began asking me personal questions and I told them I may not be in this business for much longer and that their rental agreement was with RESCO REALTY and not *** *** so they should contact the office and not me for issues they have I left their house and told them to put a tracker on the money order They said they didn’t have the money for that and asked if I could financially help them I replied that I could not Several days later the owner’s son was in my office and inquiring about his father’s account I explained what had happened and showed proof they had attempted to pay the rent, he commented to “not worry about it.” He asked I text them and ask if they had found the money I did, they replied they hadn’t This was all that was said.As to their charges that *** wants them out; I reply untrue and unfounded.As to their charge that I have stolen or embezzled their money; I reply untrue and unfoundedPersonally speaking; I am extremely angered they have implied I would embezzle their rent We manage over units and many of the tenants pay me in cash I have never taken a penny of anyone’s money.Finally: If the *** *** wishes to file slanderous and unfounded charges with the Police Department then I encourage them When it is investigated and found to be both and unfounded then they can answer to the police department for the allegations. *** ** ***REALTOR*** REALTYc: 614.419.3011o: 614.457.9811f : 614.457.9814***@***realty.comHenderson Rd, Suite AColumbus, Ohio
