Dear Ms***:
I am writing in response to *** ***’s recent complaint to your Department. In his complaint, he states that he recently received a bill from *** *** and ResCom is charging him for six months of passed bills. Mr*** states that he contacted ResCom Energy and requested to cancel his service.
Mr*** was part of a billing error that occurred between ResCom Energy and *** ***. Due to this billing error, Mr*** was not billed for several months. *** *** is aware of this issue and is willing to work out payment arrangements. Mr*** can reach *** *** at ###-###-####
We do not have any record of Mr*** contacting ResCom Energy prior to receiving this complaint. As a result of this complaint, a cancellation was processed and Mr*** last day on our service will be October 27, 2014.

I am writing in response to [redacted] recent complaint to your Department. In her complaint, Ms. [redacted] states that ResCom called her and told her she would save money on her [redacted] bill. Ms. [redacted] also states that she has been charged double and requested a refund and we refused to give it to her. She has been unable to reach ResCom Energy.
According to our records, a cancellation was processed for Ms. [redacted] on July 21, 2014 when she contacted our office. Her last day on our service was August 11, 2014. ResCom Energy does not charge an Early Termination Fee (ETF) of any kind. Ms. [redacted] has not been on our service or received any charges from ResCom since August.
