rescue 1 was contacted by my homeowners insurance to do an appraisal they said $4,500 approximately I got my own appraisal from [redacted] a reputable company their estimate was $11,000 approximately rescue one called my insurance company and told them not to pay the $11,000 that it would only cost $4,500 my insurance company then called me and told me they would not pay more than $4,500 approximately so now I'm stuck with rescue one I had to take my house off to for sale list expecting a speeding Restoration as promised a person came to fix all the damage besides the plumbing and the 3/8 inch plywood enclosure was now made of panel when  the door was closed it went behind the trim and was difficult to open the trim on the basement windows where  a screen was replaced with crooked the window lock was mounted too high and the swing in window hit it and would not open the lock part of the latch  fell off . the Trash was not cleaned up the air conditioner coil copper tube was cut on the coil elbow the coils should have been replaced but they soldered of fitting on the angled copper tube .  I was told the plumbing was complete and a bill sent to me after maybe 10 days. The  fittings on the water  softener were cross threaded and leaking the softener bypass the kitchen sink and dishwasher . the main water line from the meter is three quarter inch now neck down to one half inch for about 12 inches and back to three quarters of an inch.  the sewage pipe going into the floor could be wobbled it was a Saturday when I discovered these faults when I called the company on Saturday a secretary took  my message after an hour I called back and asked if anyone was coming out to repair this she said no so I said the water is leaking from the cross threaded fittings she told me this was not an emergency the following Tuesday the plumber came out to correct the problems my daughter had moved into this house at Saturday and asked a plumber if he had a license he said no and was asked to leave. His  boss was called and came to inspect the plumbing and agreed it had to be redone.  two days later he came back and completed the job when asked why he did not fix the water meter Line three-quarter inch to 1 half to three quarter he said it was okay . now the dishwasher is slow leaking at the fitting.  my son in law was a licensed plumber and said maybe 8 80% of the plumbing is complete and not to let this company back in the house he will fix the job for me as of 9:13 15 I received another bill from rescue one stating payment due as of 9:15 15 I got a phone call from rescue one  saying they were sending someone to my house to pick up payment I could not get a call from this company during this ordeal but they have someone to come and pick up my payment.  it is too late to hope that they could do their job correctly so that restitution is not available but I do think they should not receive more of a payment than materials usedSent from [redacted]

We spoke with the homeowner and he was expecting the job to be done in a more timely fashion. We did however completeThe job, there seemed to be a communications difference working with the homeowner and his son-in-law, because  we couldNot always  access the property at all times when our workforce wanted to.That being said, we are going to offer the homeowner a partial credit on his invoice to offset the length of time the job took to complete and create a better client/customer relationship.

In June 2016, I paid $10,000 to have 11 different rooms in my home replaced by the company. By September I complained to the owner about the project management of my project. The company had only come to my home to work on my project 10 times by September. Only 4 of the 11 rooms were even semi completed. The owner gave me many excuses that made no sense. I lost faith in the company authenticity at this point. I requested the owner give me a refund. The owner only offered me a refund in the amount of $530.48. He claims that he spent $9468.52 on the 4 of the 11 rooms he quoted me to complete for 10k. I have filed a lawsuit against Rescue One Restorations. The owner did not respond or show up to court in October. A constable is now looking for him.

Review: they replaced a dryer hose when they did an emergency water loss at out house and the dryer vent was not hooked up proper. I did not know till today when I was doing laundry and went into the room and the hose was fallen out of the external hose and I unplugged the dryer right away cause it smelled like something was burning. there is lint all over the back and the hose was not connected to the dryer. the second time I called back after talking to our insurance company the lady said it would be another day OR I could go buy it and reinstall it myself because it's not hard to do.Desired Settlement: not willing to come out when they were still open for business. they were paid for this and are not willing to help in the time of need. want it fixed NOW.
