Review: [redacted]. unconditional release.. If a vehicle owner encounters a tower removing his or her vehicle but the truck is not yet on public road, the owner may demand the immediate and unconditional release of the vehicle. On 9/27/14 my vehicle was towed by Rescue Towing. We caught up with the driver before he left private property (condominiums). I asked him if we could get the car back since he was still onsite. He said only if I had $100. He proceeded to say if he takes it off the property it will cost approximately $360. He also stated he was [redacted] At that time I did not have any knowledge regarding towing codes/laws. He used intimidating tactics in order to get money on site. We ended up having to use 2 credit cards and some cash to keep our vehicle. The only information the receipt shows is [redacted] and the date. I have called and left 3 messages for a [redacted] to call and explain to me why my rights were violated (9/27, 9/29, and 9/30). No one has responded. The only other recourse I can see is to file a formal complaint through the [redacted].Desired Settlement: I feel what happened was unjust and something needs to be done.

Review: The company towed my car for less than 3 miles , I went and picked up te car the next day, they wont give me the car if I didnt pay them $415 , and when I asked why? They said because they have put the car in their new garage?

I Called every tow comany and they all confirm that they charged me way too much , and way over chargedDesired Settlement: A fair charge like any other tow company

Review: Rescue towing hooked up my truck and was going to tow it from a parking lot that was not posted private or no parking. I cIan provide pictures taken of the lot with the tow truck in the lot hooked up to my truck. I contacted Rescue towing and asked for someone to go by the lot and see for themselves and tried to email pictures w/o response. I believe that it was illegal to try and two my truck have contracted them by phone to try and resolve this issue The date of service was 7/2/13 ticket # [redacted] and my license no is CA [redacted]. My phone # is ###-###-#### If you can email me I will provide pictures.Desired Settlement: Return my 80 dollars

Review: After my car was towed, with the start button pushed in which I wasn't with my car, meaning they p

Opened it and there was a spare key in the console (illegal I believe) they then towed my car which set off 7 warning signs and my car had to be re towed to BMW. Then shortly after BMW contacted me that the alignment was thrown off and the wheel was crooked after being towed. The diagnostics showed everything in the report. I then contacted the towing company and they not only were unethical they tried to fight my boyfriend and gave me three different names of the manager to get ahold of someone to help resolve this $615 issue. I have never been treated this way and not only odd they give me the wrong name three times and tell me they would call me back they hung up on me, gave me the manager of ace parking instead, and it shows their business license is suspended. Ace gave me the manages name and number and it isn't valid either.Desired Settlement: At least my alignment paid for and a phone call. This is beyond unacceptable. I prefer a whole defend considering it had taken days and hours out of my busy life due to in inadequate business.

Review: My car was towed from a parking lot. The towing company man whenever called, was disrespectful to me, and told me after getting angry with the way how he was talking to me, to calm myself or else he would refuse to conduct business with me. After informing the man I needed my car for work and for my wallet, which was in the car, to even get on base to go to work due to the fact my car was my way onto the military installation as well as my active duty identification, was "not my problem you shouldnt leave your wallet in your car." (the mans nazme was [redacted] or [redacted] I couldnt understand him very well)

After getting a return call 10 minutes after he said he would return my car he gave me the location my car was at. After arriving on the property he calls me back to inform me that my car was not at the Point Loma location, but instead at the Lemon Grove location nearly 10 miles away. He said the driver would be waiting for me when we arrived at the location. When we got there no was was there, and there was a Revdex.com accredited sign on the outside of the building, which I find funny since when I tried to just look it up, the business does not come up on this system (false advertisement). The area was extremely sketchy and my friends as well as myself did not feel safe waiting for the driver as gun shots were heard from a distance and the level of poverty the area had. Once the driver arrived, he was very nice and personable. Allowed me to get into my car to get my wallet. Upon t walking into the business, my friend tried to come in with me and he made him stand outside, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and the moment I stepped in the door I had this overwhelming smell of death. Week or so old death, that smelled as if it was coming from one of the closed doors. Upon the mention of it, the man got very frenzled and made excuses of the dispatch's Yorkie staying overnight in the building (which I also do not believe is allowed) and that he had told the man to bathe the dog. When I mentioned it was not the smell of a dirty dog, he turned on the a/c and worked as quickly as possible to get me out of the business. When I walked back out to my car after paying thr fees, whch I thought were personally outragous for the few hours that my car was there, I smelled the same smell coming from the back of the business. I did a quick look over my car to find that there are multiple scratches around my passenger side wheel well and front fender near the door which were not there the night before. I have not yet brought up this complaint with the company as It happened yesterday on labor day, but the fact that my car was in such a horrible neighborhood made me genuienly concerned.Desired Settlement: The business needs to be inspected and possibly relocated. I know a lot of people would feel uncomfortable with their car, if it is of any value to them, being stored in this location, whereas I could have easily of broken into. (two key locks and three strands of barbed wire on the top of the fence.) Security of the area, the actual lot, sucked. It needs to be upgraded where someone can not get into it with just a pair of lock cutters. The fact that my car was damaged upon their care, aggrivates me even more and I would like a repair of that damage as it is unacceptable for my car to be returned to me in a worse condition as it was confiscated in. The people need to look into the "dog" that stays there as I find it unprofessional for an animal to be living in a business (unless it is a personal in home business) and could possibly aggrivate a persons allergies if they have them. The guy on the phone, needs to either get some better custmer service skills or be released of his phone duties and be better trained in looking up car locations as he showed to obviously be incompetent of what he was doing, or also released of that duty as well. I have not had such a bad experience with a tow company, nor have any of my friends. I find this unacceptable and unappreciated. Just means that I am a woman does not give you the right to talk down to me or at me as if you were a greater human being than I am. And the fact that he informed me "that was not his problem" I find extremely unprofessional, untactful, and moreso unapprecited.

15 Sep, my car breaks down on the highway a member of the San Diego Freeway Service Patrol Program pulls up behind me and explains that he can call a tow service to get me off the highway. He calls it in and I wait. About 10-15 minutes later Rescue Towing shows up to fulfill the dispatch request. Getting your car off the freeway is a free program. As soon as the wrecker arrives he immediately says pay first 195 dollars. I told him it is free and showed him the pamphlet the safety patrol officer handed me. He calls his dispatcher and we talk over the phone. The dispatcher explains that I can only be towed off the freeway to a safe location. I had no problem with that. I did ask the rate for take me two more blocks to the base. She told me 195 dollars. I told her 195 dollars for two blocks - no thanks. Just get me off the highway and I'll deal with it. I hand the phone to the wrecker operator. They talk for a few minutes. He then tells me in limited English, my car is too low. A new truck will come, he loads up and drives away. My location from the Rescue Towing is only 5 miles so I thought they would be there shortly. I waited 1 hour and finally walked to the base to get a phone. I called the 511 number to see what was the problem. They told me that the company told the highway safety patrol dispatch that I said I would sue him if my car was damaged. This is preposterous, the driver an I exchanged little to no dialogue that evening. It was a made up claim because once they found out that I did not want their 195 dollar service they made up an excuse to not provide the service they were tasked to do. So the company, more specifically the driver left me stranded on the highway. Thank heavens I was close to an area where I could fix my own problem. Solution, DO NOT INCLUDE THEM IN THE PROGRAM. THEY ARE USING THAT TO EXPLOIT PEOPLE AND ARE USING IT TO GET ACCESS TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. I am so glad it was me and not my wife. Horrible, despicable company that I would never recommend to another soul.

Review: I parked my car at 3707 [redacted] in San Diego, CA on 9/20/2014. I was visiting friends so I parked my car at the guest parking section where there are multiple signs that read Guest Parking Only. I park here when I visit my friends that live at this complex location and I always check with security if I am parked at the appropriate section (guest parking) and have never experienced any issues at all.

However, on date mentioned above, Rescue Towing of San Diego sent one of its tow truck drivers name "Siena" and he tried to tow away my car. When I confronted him about the situation and telling him that I am parked at the guest parking section, he was rude, disrespectful, using profanity such as " [redacted] you" and " back the [redacted] off". He proceeded to tell me that the only way he would release my car was if I paid him $90. Not wanting the car to be towed in the middle of the night, I gave him $100. He released the car, took the cash (extra $10) and left,.Desired Settlement: An apology and a complete and full refund of $100 that was stolen.

Review: my car was towed from a public lot on private property. I immediately noticed and arrived to the tow lot location the same time my car arrived. I went inside and paid my $364.00 bill, got my car and left. after looking over the charges on my invoice, I read this statement: "UPON REQUEST, YOU ARE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE A COPY OFTHE TOWING FEES AND ACCESS NOTICE". So,I called the tow yard (I had just left) and asked the gentleman, who took my pmnt, for just that. I asked who authorized the tow and a copy of the "request to tow" He told me he was not authorized to give out that information. He then told me I could call back in the morning and speak with his manager, I asked for his managers name and he told me he didnt know. He also told me the tow was authorized by parkng enforcement.but he wouldnt tell me who parking enforcement it was. unfortunately,he knew he was unable to provide answers because he didnt have any that were valid. or maybe he just isnt very smart (?), it was my right to know and have a copy of FEES AND ACCESS NOTICE, he was unable and unwilling to provide that.Desired Settlement: release all proper documentation (as required by Ca. law) to do what they do, or be hit with a big fine

(just like they give out)

Review: My vehicle was towed from Ralph's grocery store on 04/14/2014.

When I picked up the vehicle I could hear damage and went back to Ralph's to investigate how the vehicle was towed. A representative in the parking lot said that he takes pictures of all vehicles when towed but did not work for the tow company or Ralphs. He would not provide his name. I called the tow company after leaving Ralph's that day and spoke with owner/manager - [redacted]. I informed him of damage and he requested that I stop by tomorrow (tues 04/15) but he would give me a call after he reviewed pictures once downloaded.

He never called and on Wednesday (04/16) I saw the damage for the 1st time. I first called the Tow company, spoke with [redacted] again and he said that he would come and take a look at the vehicle. He never showed up and refuses to take my calls now.

My insurance company and myself have called the business to get their insurance information and they refuse to provide. I called the local police several times (once the day or tow and three times on 04/16) however they could not assist. I called Ralphs today to get the name of the company that the "picture" taker works for, and they informed me that he works for the tow company.Desired Settlement: The tow company to provide their insurance information to my insurance company as required by law so that they can purse claim.

Pictures from the tow as they do exist and would be helpful to determine when and how damage occured.

Or,

Payment of the cost of repairs 1,006.72

Ralphs - To discontinue contracting with them due to unethical business practices if they fail to provide information that relates to the towing on my vehicle and their insurance company. Ralphs TN [redacted]
