Dear Revdex.com,The previous statement *** *** had made was Reservations Events was calling Exhibitors, as well as our company was reserving under "book my rooms" under a name of Mr***. Reservation Events has NOT booked anyone under CHA or for CHA and we are not associated with book my rooms nor do we have anyone by the name of Mr*** wor*** at Reservation Events. *** *** is falsely accusing Reservation Events which is causing time and damage. *** *** needs to be reporting Book my Rooms and get her facts straight. Reservation Events is a travel agency and is willing to book any business, personal or vacation clients. If an exhibitor would like to reserve a room because we offer lower rates there should be NO ISSUES. In todays market, the majority of people like to research lower rates for hotels, airlines, and activities. Reservation Events suggest *** *** to contact Mr*** from book my rooms and resolve the issues with that company and to stop falsely accusing Reservation Events. Thank You,*** ***

To: Revdex.com,
We have received the complaint and do not understand where the company is getting this information from. Reservation Events has no affiliation with book my rooms and we have no clue who Mr*** is. Also we do not contact any exhibitors or attendees by
telephone. Please research your information before falsely accusing reservation events. If exhibitors and attendees choose to make any type of hotel reservations they call into Reservation Events number just like any travel agency. We do not mislead any clients and ALL clients have the option of who they would like to reserve a hotel room with. Guest like to find the lowest rates when traveling and most of the time Reservation Events has great rates, but never do we need to say we are affiliated with anyone nor do we need to say we are the companies you have mentioned Reservation Events DOES NOT represent any other firm and we definitely have no affiliation with any other company. Once again please get the facts in order before falsely accusing any company.
Thank You,

Good Morning [redacted],
12.8000001907349px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">
I hope all is well.  We have received the complaint in regards to J[redacted] and the information provided to the Revdex.com was not valid.  On May 4th, 2015 J[redacted] contacted our reservations department and spoke with [redacted].  Our agents do not contact consumers first since they do not have the guest contact information. J[redacted] requested room rates for the Hard Rock Hotel and asked for the rates to be emailed to her.  [redacted] emailed Ms. [redacted] with room rates as she had requested.  On May 6th, 2015 Ms. [redacted] emailed [redacted] stating she wanted to move forward with the booking.  [redacted] went ahead and made the reservations as she had requested.  Before any rooms are confirmed all guest must agree to the terms and conditions.  Which clearly states the following:

Terms and conditions
Terms and Conditions: All requests to modify, substitute or cancel must be made in writing to Reservation Events. at least 14 business days prior to arrival: [email protected]. Changes MUST be made with Reservation Events as the hotel is unable to make these changes. Client is responsible for maintaining 50% of the total room nights initially booked and will result in the forfeiture of the non-refundable 50% deposit. All room requests are subject to availability and unless otherwise stated above, are run of the house. Early check-outs and/or now shows are non-refundable. By Agreeing below you acknowledge that you have read and agree with the terms and conditions set forth and authorize Reservation Events to run the credit card listed on the credit card authorization form in the amount specified. The booking agreement and credit card authorization must be received by Reservation Events within 24 hours prevailing or changed rates may apply and/or any promotional offers may be sold.
We have never had any type of cancellation that states anything with 11 days.  Ms. [redacted] contacted accounting requesting to cancel the reservation.  She was advised again of the cancellation policy.  Ms. [redacted] was upset and stated she did not agree to the penalty.  A few days later we received an email from her company threatening to take us to court if we did not refund the full amount.  Our company does not take any credit card information over the phone. All guest must review the invoice through the email they provide.  They must also agree to the terms and conditions and review the booking before submitting payment.  At this time Ms. [redacted] had her company place a charge back on the amount and it is currently being disputed.  Please understand that our agents are on a hourly pay, therefore they do not need to contact any guest nor do they need to lie about our terms and conditions.  Ms. [redacted] is upset because we will not allow the full refund.  I have also forward the emails from [redacted] and [redacted] showing The dates and the request from Ms. [redacted] requesting to make reservations.  If you have further questions please let me know.

Thank You,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I made the complaint because I received complaints from my exhibitors about emails and phone calls from housing companies claiming to work for CHA. I don't know [redacted] and I'd never heard of this company until I received the attached email. Attached is the email that our exhibitor sent to me. This email references Craft and Hobby, The Craft and Hobby Tradeshow and the Craft and Hobby tradeshow location and dates throughout. This would lead anybody to believe that they represent CHA, are affiliated with CHA or have negotiated hotel rates on behalf of CHA. The subject line of this email says it all. How would anybody NOT think this company was booking housing for CHA after reading this email.
Regards,

Attached are my email requests to cease and desist contacting our exhibitors/members, under the guise of wor[redacted] for or with CHA. The first email was forwarded to me from a CHA member so I sent the C&D to the person at Reservation Events that sent it out, [redacted] The second email was sent to the only other contact information listed on this companies website so that's also where I sent it. Every time I called the number listed on their website, 1-888-391-9496, I got a recorded message.
The third email was sent to [redacted] at Reservation Events, who sent an email to another one of CHA's members, also referencing our upcoming event, location and dates as if they are affiliated with us. Three of the hotels they list are actually hotels we are using and that we have listed on our CHA website. They list the [redacted] as our headquarter hotel, and it is our hq hotel. Anybody receiving this email would believe they were receiving it from a Legitimate vendor associated with CHA. And that's the problem. They are not just soliciting our members, they are doing it in a manner meant to deceive our members. That needs to stop. Our members are receiving multiple solicitations from this company and they are complaining to me. Here is my complaint to you as my efforts with RE have gotten me nowhere.

Review: Representatives from this company have been falsely claiming they are our official housing vendor to our members and exhibitors via email and phone.

Several of our exhibiting companies have contacted us to let us know that this company has contacted stating falsely that they are the company we have hired to help them book hotel rooms. Our official housing company is and has been OnPeak and we have no affiliation whatsoever with Book my rooms. They are ma[redacted] specific statements that false and the email communications are coming from [redacted]@bookmyrooms.com. This is upsetting our members because of the frequency of the contact even when they have been asked to stop. This is also hurting our business as we can not contact these people. They hang up when I or one of my collegues tells them we are CHA and that we don't now them. We need to stop these repeated calls and emails to our business partners. Our attempts to send C&D letters has had them returned to us. The claims are false, their promises turn out to be scams, they are not wor[redacted] with our hotels and their specific claim that they represent us is false and misleading.Desired Settlement: We need for this company to STOP all phone, email and mail contact with our vendors, exhibitors, and members. To stop making statements that they are working for, working with or representing CHA in any manner, IMMEDIATELY.

Review: I was contacted back in April by [redacted] with Reservation Events for the [redacted] show coming up in October. We paid $4,197.96 for rooms, with up to 14 days to be able to cancel them. I have been trying to reach [redacted] since August 21st about changing reservations, and have heard nothing back from her. My boss and myself have both been trying to call Reservation Events, with no response. I have also called the hotel we supposedly booked, the [redacted] Las Vegas, and they can not find our reservation. They have already taken our money through [redacted] invoice number [redacted], so we want to know what is going on. We are three weeks out from the show, with no rooms.Desired Settlement: We want a response from them, and to know what in the world is going on. If they can not get our reservations situated we want a refund.

Review: [redacted] contacted me by phone last week concerning help with booking rooms for the NACS convention in October 2015. Booking rooms for NACS was already on my radar so I did not find the call strange. When I booked 6 rooms with her I was informed I had 11 days to cancel (without penalty). When I received a strange email back with a payment confirmation I didn't think it looked right. I called NACS housing to ask to speak with [redacted], they informed me they did not have anyone by that name working there an that their company was the only company allowed to book hotel rooms under the NACS block. When I called back "reservation events" from [redacted]'s email signature to let her know to cancel the rooms she transferred me to accounting. I did not hear back from accounting until yesterday when they informed me I needed to pay a 50% deposit for the rooms for the cancellation. I have emailed and called numerous times to try to get a hold of someone there to resolve the issue but no one has been available. I made a call to the place where we had reserved rooms for the NACS show and the hotel did not have any reservations on the names I had down.Desired Settlement: I would like a 100% refund since they are not the correct business to be booking for NACS hotel rooms. I find their business unethical and also feel a business should not ignore all calls and emails regarding the matter.

Review: reservation events solicited me by phone regarding hotel reservations for trade show in Las Vegas. I paid them $3015.80 (the total amount) on 6/12/15 with my American express. When I checked in to the hotel ([redacted]) on 7/29/15 I was told my 2 reservations were cancelled on 7/25/15. I immediately called reservation events from the hotel, they answered and told me they would check it out and call me back within 15 minutes. they never called back. The [redacted] and myself tried to call them back at least 20 times but could not get a person on the phone. They did not deliver the service that I paid for and have not returned my money.
