Reserve Financial Services

I searched on the internet for personal loans for people with fair credit and found Reserve Financial Services. After filling out their online loan application, I was contacted by Mark J by phone and email stating that I’d been approved for a loan. While going over the loan terms over the phone, he told me to wire money to a receiver in Canada because a Canadian bank was the only lender willing to work with my credit profile. In order to receive funding, I had to put a security deposit down of three months worth of loan payments. I signed the contract and wired the money. After I did that, I was told it’d take an hour and a half to process my loan. After that time passed, a woman called me claiming that Mark had a family emergency, so she’d be handling my loan. She told me that there was a delay with releasing the funds to me because my credit score changed during the loan process, so the Canadian lender required that I send an additional three months worth of security deposit. I requested a refund at that point and an email from her stating when I would receive the refund. Neither she or Mark followed up with me. I called my bank and alerted them of the fraud that occurred. They’re working on my claim and will resolve it within ten business days.
