LeafGuard Northeast Ohio (“LeafGuard”) respectfully disagrees with the Customer’s allegation that LeafGuard has kept “blowing [him] off” LeafGuard has timely responded to the Customer’s requests, but LeafGuard has to respond to all of its customer timely Regarding the Customer’s requests for service regarding his “clogged gutters”, the gutter system has recently become “clogged” a number of times as a result of birds nesting inside a LeafGuard gutter system that LeafGuard installed a little over two years ago The Customer first reported having a problem with the system “clogging” earlier this year When LeafGuard responded to the Customer’s request, we found that birds had been nesting in the system It seems that the Customer has numerous bird feeders attracting the birds Nonetheless, honoring its no-clog (i.ekeeping water free flowing in the system), LeafGuard cleaned the whole system by removing the bird nests Less than a month later, the Customer again called complaining that the system was again “clogged” On this second occasion, LeafGuard’s Production Manager personally responded and again cleaned out the bird nests from the system LeafGuard’s Production Manager worked during the rain and into the night to be as responsive as possible to the Customer’s requests to clean out the bird nests from the system Unfortunately, because the birds continue to come back to feed, they again started building nests in the system Thus, the Customer again called on June 28th to have the bird nests removed from the system He was advised that LeafGuard could service the system on July 8th, because LeafGuard’s schedule was full with appointments to take care of other customers The Customer was not satisfied to wait for a couple of weeks Thus, he made this complaint LeafGuard has been very responsive to this Customer’s requests However, LeafGuard has to be responsive to all of its customers’ needs Because of its obligations to other customers, LeafGuard could not completely rearrange its schedule to immediately respond to the Customer’s request to again clean the bird nests out of his system Unless something unforeseen occurs, LeafGuard will again remove the bird nests on July 8th Accordingly, LeafGuard considers this matter closed

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below They did not work into the night and in the rain, that is a lieThere is bird feeder and it is on the detached garageThe clogged gutters are in the front of the house not the backThey also did not give me a date of service they said to weeksThey gave the lifetime clog free warranty, if they don't want to honor it they shouldn't have gave it Regards, [redacted]

LeafGuard Northeast Ohio (“LeafGuard”) apologizes that the communication between itself and the Customer has not been as good as it could have been. When investigating the Customer’s complaint, LeafGuard was advised that the issue with the gutter system “sagging” relates to an issue with
icicles that occurred last winter and not related to an issue with the gutters becoming clogged this summer. The contract expressly states that LeafGuard is not liable for icicles, as they typically develop due to conditions with the home opposed to the LeafGuard gutter system. Nevertheless, LeafGuard performed a service last week to resolve issues that the Customer was having with his LeafGuard gutter system. Included in that service was replacing a portion of the gutter system. LeafGuard did so at no cost to the Customer even though there was no contractual obligation to do so, especially considering that the contract was entered into over twenty years ago. LeafGuard did so solely in the interest of customer service. The Customer seems satisfies with the resolution of this matter. Thus, LeafGuard considers this matter closed

They did not install screens on in the gutters. The screens have been there for years. They did clean the leaves from the gutters as stated in the contract - it was not done as a courtesy to me. In the future if the gutters get filled again - they should come out again to clean them!!

ELG, Incdoing business as Beldon Cleveland ("Beldon") apologizes for any potential miscommunication that it might have contributed to regarding the Customer's request for Beldon to clean his gutters. When the Customer initially called on July 17th, Beldon was unable to immediately come out to
clean his gutter system because our crews had already been scheduled for other jobs. Yet, the Customer had been put on the schedule to have the gutters cleaned on August 8th. In the interest of customer service, Beldon's Production Manager personally serviced this Customer's home yesterday, cleaning out three birds nests from the Customer's gutter system. Unfortunately, the Customer was not at home when the Production Manager was performing the service. So, we could not get the Customers to sign the completion form. If the Customer does have further issues, Beldon will again address them. At this timeBeldon considers this matter closed

LeafGuard Northeast Ohio (“LeafGuard”) apologizes that the communication between itself and the Customer has not been as good as it could have been.  However, LeafGuard has not failed any contractual requirement to clean the Customer’s gutters.  When the Customer purchased his gutter...

system, he purchased an open gutter system with no screens.  This gutter system did not come with a no-clog warranty, like another gutter system LeafGuard sells.   In other words, there is no contractual obligation by LeafGuard to clean the Customer’s gutter season when it filled with leaves.  When the current team examined the job, they were correct in stating that there was no contractual requirement to do so.  Despite no contractual obligation, LeafGuard had previously cleaned the Customer’s gutter system a few times as a courtesy to him.    One of the current managers has explained to the Customer that LeafGuard never had and will continue not to have a requirement to clean the Customer’s gutter system and only did so in the past as a courtesy to him.  Yet, the manager has agreed to add screens to the gutters in an effort to reduce the number of leaves that get into the gutters.  Yet, even with screens, there is no guarantee that the gutter system will not clog.  LeafGuard completed the service last week at no cost to the Customer.  LeafGuard made this agreement solely in the interest of customer service.   The Customer seems satisfied with this resolution.  So, LeafGuard considers this matter closed.

They did not work into the night and in the rain, that is a lie. There is 1 bird feeder and it is on the detached garage. The clogged gutters are in the front of the house not the back. They also did not give me a date of service they said 2 to 3 weeks. They gave the lifetime clog free warranty, if they don't want to honor it they shouldn't have gave it.
