Residence Inn Yonkers Westchester County

Review: From November 2012 to April 2013 I stayed at the Residence Inn in Yonkers for business. I enjoyed my stay there and had no issues until December [redacted], 2013 when a charge appeared on my credit card in the amount of $387.70. I have called on several occasions left messages and sent emails to [redacted] regarding this matter. To date (7 months later!) I still have not received a return email or phone call from any staff or management there. I spoke to the front desk staff on one occasion and was told that the charge would be reversed which never happened. I have absolutely no idea why this charge was put on my card, nor any invoice or billing statement from them. If it was a legitimate charge I would need this information to send to my company for reimbursement. I am absolutely disgusted that this has not been resolved after 7 months!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund in the amount of the charge plus the accrued interest for every month this charge has been on my credit card.

Review: [redacted], the [redacted] was very unresponsive to phone calls to correct an urgent emergency that occurerd. She falsely accused me of accessing a room and charged me $160 for a room I cancelled within hours for an unexpected emergency. She assured me that once she read the access key card for entry to the room she would compensate me for the unused stay. When asked to replay the cameras to confirm access to the room she declined. Also, during a previous stay being that pets are allowed in the room there was dog poop smeared on the carpet which was not cleaned upon entry. There is no security and there is a lenghty wait time at the front desk. I had to call out several times to get a response from the [redacted]. I recommend guests stay away from this unsanitary and unfriendly facility.Desired Settlement: An adjustments to the charges or complimientary room for a family member.
