Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/09/15) */ We have scheduled a meeting with the customer to see what we can do, no calls were made to the office in regards to the complaint so we are working one resolving the issue to make costumer satisfied with the work Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 7, 2015/09/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:On October 25th [redacted] showed up but was over hours late and then made more excuses as to why he could not do the repairs at that time This was after he stood me up on other appointments While he was there I started asking more questions about the patching and coloring and when I asked how long the color and patches would last he said or years I told him I did not want a Band-Aid fix He left and told me to call him with a day/time he could come back After speaking with my spouse I called him back and told him we would like to go with the aggregate finish that he had offered on April 19th in front of a 3rd party witness He also acknowledged that offer via text on May 10th After going around with him for minutes on the phone he said he could do the aggregate finish but not until the Summer of I told him I would call him back shortly so I could talk it over with my spouse He called me back after about minutes and then told me he would not do the aggregate finish, that it was no longer an option as it would cost him too much money At this point I just want the spalding concrete fixed in a way that will not require I keep patching/ sealing it every couple years I don’t find a to year “fix” to be a solution to getting a bad finish I’ve been told by others who are knowledgeable with concrete that I should not have this type of Spalding and that it is likely caused by of things; 1) he added too much water to it during finishing, 2) it froze while it was setting up, 3) he let the concrete sit in the truck too long before pouring I’m still asking that he either re pour it or he provide the aggregate finish he offered Sincerely, [redacted]

We have gone out to the property and fixed the concerns with the customer to his satisfaction

We went out there on June 16th and fixed the little issues that were wrong, we fixed the sprinklers and took the rock (which we didn't charge for). We did give him a discount, we no longer do landscaping. Which in this case we did go put the rock back, the customer then stated he was happy and would...

take off the compliant. On June 29th we send the customer a message and he stated he was busy traveling but would take the complaint off because we had fulfilled the agreement and even did a little extra. We went on the same day he called, sent over all the guys to fix this job. No we do not use the same concrete as other jobs, the colors do differ. We have done our side of the job.       [redacted]

The company responded within 24 hours, and was at the site 2 days later. They were willing to cut out the sections that had moved and re-pour them for free, or redo the entire patio for an additional $500. We agreed to the entire redo, and work is set to occur next week. This is a satisfactory resolution.

customer happy and get this issue resolved.

We do stand by our warranty, and the owner did go out there and try to resolve the issue on the spalling with the option to stain it and seal it. We wanted to make the customer happy and on Tuesday October 25th [redacted] (the owner) went out with the proper supplies and concrete to fix the spalling...

(which is part of the warranty) and color to stain it. Which we usually do not even offer in the warranty but the owner wanted to make things right with the customer so he offered to do a little extra and apply color and a sealer. This would've made the concrete not have the spalling and also it would have looked colored and sealed which makes it look nicer. The customer did say he wanted us to aggregate the entire patio and we could not do this, that is not part of the warranty. For us to do that it would cost about $4000 to do so. [redacted] does understand his frustration but we cannot do something completely different to the concrete. After [redacted] explained the customer said he would report us if we didn't do the aggregate and after that was not open to any other suggestions or offers. The spalling we do take responsibility for and are abiding the warranty for a year and fixing the spalling. We are sorry for any inconvenience and if the customer would like to pursue with the option we gave him then we would be more than happy to go out there and fix the concrete spalling.   Thanks for your time.
