Residential Construction Inspection

We were in contact with this client on 3/5/18, 3/6/18, and again on 3/7/ When I spoke to him on 3/7, I offered to refund him the amount of the vaccine that was given incorrectly which is $ He had other services performed on 3/1/when the incorrect vaccine was given but we will not refund for those services since those were performed correctly He currently has a $credit on his account here and I explained to him that we could refund his credit card if that is what he decided to do We have not received a response from him in regards to the matter Our veterinarian contacted the manufacturer of the vaccine and they told her that they were not concerned about the cat having any ill effects from the vaccine We explained that to the client in detail and we also offered to have him bring the cat in for one of our doctors to examine her at no charge to make sure she was okay We also encouraged him to come back for the correct vaccine at no charge We have not heard from the client since 3/7/

My staff has been honest and forthright with Mr [redacted] regarding our error.  I  offered in a personal letter to discuss this in a professional, respectful manner.  I have mailed him a check  to refund the fee for the incorrect vaccination, which I feel is fair.  With Mr. [redacted] threatening legal action, I feel that there is nothing I can do to satisfy him.  I will not refund fees for other services that were preformed. Matthew S M[redacted] DVMPractice Owner

In what world is this response appropriate. We have spent thousands of dollars at this business and they broke a contract of trust. I don't feel comfortable with any of the work that was performed at that visit and we simply want the entire visit refunded. We will be pursuing legal action. I cannot believe how close-minded this company is being in regards to their own mistake. Their behavior and attitude is ridiculous. This is not the first time we have had an issue with them, and after speaking with friends we have heard this type of mistake is very common. The manager of the clinic even said, "this happens all of the time" on the phone.
