I was referred to this customer. When called out I was asked to remove a light fixture to install a ceiling fan. The light fixture was a 6 inch round Canlite. At the time of the estimate we told her that we could remove the light. She can have here drywall guy come in to make the necessary drywall...

repairs before we install the fan. The customer said that would be okay to go ahead and just install the fan and her drywall guy can work around it.   The down Rod that was installed was a 3 inch stub that's provided inside of the fan box if any homeowner ever needs a longer downrod it is a separate purchase they have to make from the store that they bought the fan from. Once again I recommended a longer downrod to this customer and she chose just to go with the short down rod.   she was more in a hurry to get the work done then to being able to see the big picture. She called asking me to come back over to remove the fan for free and then to come back a 3rd time to reinstall the fan for free. When I told her that there would be a small charge or being able to do the work that she's now requesting the lady cussed at me probably worse than anybody has ever cussed at me before in my life. And at that time I asked her not to call me anymore.

install.when his wife got home she didn't like the location of the outlets. She called me and I set a appointment to look at moving the outlets. They missed the first one and on the second appointment I meet the husband and in order to put the outlets I the new location would require 4hrs of digging and removing everything that had all ready been placed in the ground. Because of not have to buy the parts again I gave them an estimate of $250. At that time he said he wanted to talk to his wife. I got a call that night from her saying that it should be covered under the warranty. I told her that the original install was done as asked by her husband and we where sorry that he told us the wrong info. But we did everything like we should have. The husband was very short in our conversation. And didn't seem to want anything to do with the install. I am sorry for him not relaying the proper information to your electrician. We will be happy to come out and fix it for $250.00 which is the cost of the labor needed.thank you [redacted]
