Please take a look of my response to the RIS belowI would highly appreciate any help from Revdex.com for resolving the issue. Mr***,I really don't understand why you only listened and believed what *** told you? The easiest way is that you just come and take a look of what current status is to determine the leak is truly fixed or not. As a professional inspector, I believe it is not difficult for you to make a right judgement. If you are willing to do so, please let me know as soon as possible. After *** came to do repairing, leak issue becomes more serious than before. Leak water from shower can not only be seen in master bathroom and bedroom, and but also in living room after take shower. Based current leak status, I thinks it maybe not just a small leak issue and IF not fixing the problem soon, more house damages will be a result. *** may only repair the valve leak (I am not sure if he really fixed it or not.) but other leaks, such as leaks from water pipe and shower base may be still there. If it is true, a simple repairing can not solve the problem but it needs to rebuild the shower. As mentioned to you previously, from my experience, after *** did any repairing, he often caused more damages. Just for an example, he came to replace bath valve but caused bath drain pipe broken. For more examples, he replaced bath faucets and but wrongly installed hot and cold water lines, resulting in redoing the job two or three times. Since he completed shower remodeling, the door threshold has been rebuilt twice due to leak,which caused me an extra ~$to buy materials. The shower glass door was reinstalled twice due to leak, leading to buy more extra tiles and trims for reinstallFor the cases mentioned above, you may ask *** to verify themIt is why I strongly suggested you to send other guys not *** for fixing leak previously and feel it is necessary to watch what he did in order to try to avoid any more damages caused by him. You have mentioned asking other pluming company for leak repairing several times beforeSince the shower is fully covered by RIS warranty, please clearly let me know you will pay all of repairing charge or not. show the leak had been fixed and if it was still leaking now then I would hope that you would have called a plumber.[redacted] was there and planed to fix everything earlier this week. But, he called me stressed out because he stated you would not leave him alone to do his work. For this reason he chose to leave the jobsite. I agree with him that it is incredibly difficult to work with someone hovering over your shoulder. I would not want someone doing that to me either.We understand that a small leak was found was was the source of the wood floor stains. We have been prepared since the beginning to fix this at no cost to you. In order for to move forward we need to be allowed back into the house and be left alone to do our work. If we can make that happen then we will be back on Wednesday to finish the drywall and have the floors repaired on Thursday or Friday.If there is still a water leak, then calling an after hours plumbing company should have been 2 days ago as we recommended" Thank you,Residential Improvement Services
