spite of the conditions we are subjected to We focus on objectives and specific customer needs So, it is very disappointing to receive this complaint, and to review the and disparaging statements made by this customer
It is my opinion that we performed the services that were agreed to, in a professional manner, for this customerPlease see the attached copy of the invoice presented to him, that clearly states the services proposed and provided to him, along with additional service recommendations and a note that reads “No warranty or guarantees with drain service”. All of the details were discussed with him and his wife, while on site. The original copy was given to him, with the last four digits of his credit card number recorded as method of payment. We performed the services proposed and made no promises, other than to do our best to clear the baand camera inspect their sewer pipe to locate the cause. During close out, I had every reason to believe that this customer was satisfied with the services provided, that he was aware that additional repairs were needed in the very near future, and that we would be speaking further about those repairs
This particular sewer had been serviced previously by another companyModifications had been made to reach the same root-intruded pipe section, that should have been replaced at that time. Based on observation during the camera inspection we performed, it is, was, and will be our recommendation to replace that section, along with the rest of the sewer, out to the city common sewer in the street As a professional plumbing company, we perform services on existing systems. We have to be careful to not provide any promise, guarantee, or warranty for servicing an existing obsolete sewer, in order to not be liable for past repairs. We explain this to all our customers before we start, make note of it on our invoices, and go over it at close out
I was never made aware of any disrespectful treatment of persons with disabilities, minority status, or anyone, until receipt of his statement. I am still trying to figure out who the described “minority person” is, where the conclusion of disrespect stems from, and how I was able to collect on completion with no mention of a problemWe had our patience tested having to maintain locked entry doors and then having paperwork tugged out of hands. Ultimately, we successfully alleviated a sewer backup condition, without incident and smiled throughout the challenging experience
As far as the customer’s desired settlement of a refund, I have to decline
