I completely agree with all that has been said here. DO NOT rent from this company, unless you want to live in a slum that they will not fix...And to take your security deposit...plus ZERO customer service. And, yes, they are famous for not doing a walk-through when you vacate the rental, so they can validate taking part of your security deposit. Not only did they do that to us, but I have met others in the same boat. Completely unethical.

1) When we moved in, there were flexible downspout hoses attached to all of the gutter drains. We didn't put them there. Upon leaving, RPM took pictures of them and claimed that they were "dryer vents" that we took from the dryer and put on the gutters. Really? Nice reach.

2) A month into our rental, the garage door opener broke. Several attempts were made to fix them, and their maintenance people were unable to fix it. Months like this. We complained countless times to no avail. If they can't fix something with the house that we need and want and that we are paying for, we should get a break in the rent. Period.

3) Don't ever, ever, ever expect a return email or call.

4) There was black mold in all of our windows. Nice health hazard.

5) When we left, we meticulously cleaned the home. Even the neighbors will attest to the fact that we took care of the home better than anyone had previous to us. Well, they billed us for "additional cleaning." I knew they would try to pull this, so we kept an eye on the house. Our neighbors did, too. Everyone concurred that there never was a cleaning crew in the house. They billed us for a service that, not only was not needed, but never even happened.

Bottom line: do not rent from this company. The way they make money is by ripping innocent people off. I would live in a tent before renting from them again.

I don't recommend this rental agency at ALL! They are dishonest in how they handle business, they don't do complete walk throughs in the beginning or the end of the rental period- I feel they do this so that it's harder to dispute what ever they claim is wrong - that way they can steel your security deposit!!!!! If you need something fixed- be prepared to wait...when they finally get around to fixing the problem...they half-[redacted] fix it the cheapest way possible to point that they have to come back again for the same repair! We were in the same rental for six years- finally left and bought a house!

We had such a terrible experience with them as renters. This isn't about tooting our own horns, but we were the perfect tenants. Rent always on time, planted a garden, watered the lawn and any other expectation that were upon us as renters per the lease agreement. On the other hand, any expectations that lay at the feel of RPM were not met. They were to keep our property on the outside (lawn/bushes) nice and clean, but there were times where the grass was a foot long. As for the bushes, I used to get scrapes daily walking on the sidewalk to get to my car because of how overgrown it was. The interior of the house needed work done in the kitchen floor and hallway bathroom, and we would never hear back from them. When someone would come out to look at the issue, they were not capable of fixing it. Long story short, they were not very nice or helpful. I had the unfortunate experience of speaking with the owner of RPM, and I must say I have never been treated worse. He was completely rude and disrespectful. He had no manners and talked down to me the entire time. When I stated as such he scoffed at me. I would never ever recommend RPM to anyone for rental properties.
After leaving, we received a small portion of our deposit back, and I am submitting a dispute letter for it. The person who left the review about there be no walk through upon renting the place and none at vacating, is right. That is precisely what has happened with us. Worse part, the deposit check can't be deposited because it's made out to both myself and my boyfriend, when neither of us share bank accounts. Bank says they cannot accept the check. Now I am stuck!
The most unpleasant experience, the worse kind of people (rude and disrespectful), no one should rent from them in my opinion.

I went into the office the other day to find out if they had any short term rentals available. I have 2 dogs and I know it's difficult to find someone who will rent with pets. The girl behind the counter went to ask a question about one of the rentals and that person came out to speak with me. I have no idea who she is and did not get her name but she was RUDE very RUDE. Told her I sold my home and needed a place to live for a few months while I wait for my new home to be build. I would never rent from this company as they were no help to me and RUDE to me. Don't think they care about customer service or helping someone like me who only needed a place to rent for a few months.
