Hang up the phone if you are contacted by anybody from RTII was sought by representatives from RTI in June of at a very vulnerable financial time in my life I was dealing with a very serious medical issue I was broke and had a lot of bills piling I explained to the representative that I could not afford to lose any money I was assured that this was an excellent investment opportunity After speaking to the sales representative, MrH***, I gave the company $and hopefully entered into this agreement with this company I first received offers from them in October after contacting them to inquire about offers Of course, the offers did not pan out as none of the time periods lined up with the offers I received offers the second time in November but without success I was told I didn't respond in time to the offers The RTI employee explained that these offers go really fast and I needed to respond within 2-days That was the last time I received offers or heard from this company I contacted them on December 28, to ask about my money and the status of the deal they promised The first employee, Sandra, told me she had to look for my file She told me that it had been a year since I had received an offer I was told there was no way I could get a refund I asked to speak to the owner of the company Sandra told me the owner was as the convention I asked to talk to a manager and was transferred to the offers department--first Carla, and then Kelly, who stated that she was a supervisor I received no success with her; only that I would be receiving offers on January Kelly would not give me the name of the owner of the company, but told me he was at a convention Kelly also told me the next person in charge was out on a family medical emergency and they did not know when he would be returning to work When I expressed my frustration with this process, Kelly apologized, told me I could not get a refund, and stated that the company is now under new management and they have made changes to the way they do business I asked if the company had testimonials from customers who had positive experiences with the company I got no definitive response from KelleyI will be contacting this company every month in to inquire about the status of my investment I may not get the return I was promised, but I will spend the next few months writing complaints every time I get an opportunity I regret not doing my homework before giving up my hard-earned money I feel foolish for falling for this scam, but I will keep calling, writing, and complaining to anybody who will listen It is really a shame that people are able to operate businesses that prey on people This is the first time I have ever written a review for a company, good or bad I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt However, if I can keep anybody else from losing their hard earned money like I did, I will have at least gotten something positive from this nightmare encounter

Any time a company contracts you first, especially concerning timeshares, you can bet your bottom dollar they won't be worth the time of day. Resort Travelers charged me $1,459 to advertise and rent my timeshare within 180 days. A joke and a half! They were supposed to email me time and resorts people were interested in exchanging for my timeshare EVERY month. It never happened! I was lucky I got email every 3 months! And, of course, it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. The [redacted] that I used for exchange, never, ever had anything that matched. The first time Resort Travelers emailed me (after waiting 3 mos.), the [redacted] didn't even have the resorts they came up with in their inventory! After one year, still no results. A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! ALL TALK AND NO ACTION!!!

Do not do business with RTI They lie about who they represent and their sales tactics are the typical hard sell The first contact that I had was from a telephone call The call was from Sara R*** She left a message that she was an [redacted] concierge and needed to obtain some properties to rent for a big conference and left a number to call She lied She was not associated with [redacted] in any way I called that number many times and left messages to call on my cell phone I never heard back form that person I did receive a call from a salesman I don't recall his name but he told me that they work with [redacted] to find business customers That was a lie He explained the deal It was for $They would rent of my timeshare properties in days and I would get a check for $at the end of days I asked if that was guaranteed He said yes That was a lie I told him that I would look over my properties and get back with him The next day I received a call from Josh W*** He explained the deal in the same way That they would rent my properties and I would get a check for $after days They never explain that all they do is list your property They make it sound like the will rent your property In reality you rent your property to the clientSo I said OK Then he transfers me to his assistant, Vanessa, to walk me through the contract Typical hard sales tactic I should have known at this point that I was a victim of the hard sales tactics but I was eager to get some money for the unused properties I got on the phone with Vanessa and she hurriedly walked me to the places to sign on the contract nothing else No explanation of the contract details at all Typical hard sales tactic I did not have time to read the contract but she said I had days to cancel it so I went ahead and signed in the two places that she showed me When I got the contract and read it I figured out that all I paid for was for them to list the properties on their website with no guarantees of anything I immediately contacted the credit card company to dispute the charge It could not be disputed because it had not posted yet I sent a letter to the email in the contract to cancel my contract I received no response that they received my email as you would normally with a reputable company The next day I called their customer support that is only available from 12pm to 8pm eastern time When they answered the phone they did not identify themselves so I asked if It was RTI and she said yes She did not sound happy at all I asked who I should send the letter to cancel my contract to as the contract had an address but no name or attention to listed The customer service rep said that I would have to talk to the manager that handles the cancellations I was connected Dave, no last name Most likely another sales person Another lie as to who I was speaking with He proceeded to tell me that after our conversation, if I still wanted to cancel the contract, I could I told him that I was not going to have a conversation and that I wanted my contract canceled immediatelyHe said that he would cancel the charge and the contractAs of today I still see the pending charge on the credit card I'm still not sure that the money will be refundedthis could turn into a complaint if it is not refunded promptly I have experienced the hard sell before and should have known better Make sure that you know what you are getting with this company before you sign up and don't sign anything without reading it first
