As a Resorts Rewards card member myself, I have a Silver R-Card that I only use at the very last possible moment due to terrible experiences involving Resorts Casino. Members receive an R-Card. It is the official players' card of Resorts Destinations, the R-Card offers members even more benefits and rewards. Preferred members who sign-up for their free R-Card will earn comps and cash based on play. R-Card members will receive exclusive offers, invitations to play in tournaments, complimentary gifts, discounts at retail outlets and more. In addition to these benefits, Platinum members will enjoy express check-in and valet, accelerated cashback, and much more. R-Card members can access their accounts, issue comps, and more at designated kiosks located throughout the casino. Members must be at least 21 years old. My complaint is in regards to the top tier R-Card, for Platinum members. It is the Blue Card(15,000+). Resorts Casino has not held up to their mission statement, so to speak. The Company's website, is incomplete and uninformative. When in the website a submenu can be accessed for Rewards Club, Customers can check points, balances & offers. Listed for the Blue card is participation and incentive of promotional offers and/or bonus's. Marketing is responsible for sending out promotional offers to their customers., the amount and type of promotional offer can vary at the discretion of Resorts Marketing Team, so as listed *based on play/subject to availability/some exclusions apply., Resulting in convincing the public to come play in their business, spend money in their franchise, and in return for faithful customers, with a top tier/level card, one can expect to receive mailers to be used within each month they are issued. However this is NOT the case. Blue cards owners are now finding themselves not receiving any monthly promotions/mailers, nor fair treatment. Lies needBusiness Response To Whom it May Concern:Resorts Casino offers free membership in the Rewards Club, which is a card tracking system designed to track slot play for members. There are four levels of membership-Red, Silver, Gold and Blue. membership in each level is secured based on points earned from slot play, for example $5 coin-in/cash equals one (1) point. The Red membership card doesn't require any points earned, however each of the other levels have different required pint thresholds.Direct mail offers are not based on points earned and therefore, different card level members may or may not receive offers via direct mail. these offers are solely based on play criteria that has a minimum required threshold in order to receive an offer and different criteria levels must be met to receive increased offers.
