I am responding to the letter from the Revdex.com dated Monday, September 26, 2016, complaint ID ***. This is the first I have heard of the complaint filed with the Revdex.com. My correspondences have been directly to Mrand Mrs***. See below my correspondence by email to the *** family on Tuesday September 6, Attached please find *** Letter August 31, signed. Also included a Delivery and Read Receipt on the email but only received a delivery confirmation. Read receipt is optional if the ***’s decline the request. REsource LLC has been in business since 2005, currently with rental homes. I pride myself in running an ethical business. This is the first and only dispute against my company. I do have a deposit to hold contract, unfortunately I didn’t have one with me on the day the ***’s placed deposit. Therefore, I hand wrote a contract that is included with this email, see *** *** Letter PDF. Honestly, I felt the ***’s were honest people and we would not have any problems. The ***’s were aware the deposit was non refundable, per our conversations on Saturday and Sunday. A deposit to hold is a commitment from a person that shows their commitment to carry through in purchasing or committing to something. My explanation for holding the deposit is explained in my letter to the ***’s Please accept this information for disputing this complaintThank you and please contact me with any questions you may have

I am rejecting this response because: My wife spoke with *** over the phone within hours of filling out our rental application and told him that we didn't plan on renting his property due to various issues He indicated to my wife that he understood our decision and that he would refund our deposit of $ Roughly days later, we reached back out to *** to find out the status of our refund, we hadn't received the deposit back, and he informed us that he wouldn't be refunding the deposit ***'s rental application states that there is a $admin fee per person, which is non refundable and my wife and I understood that we would be out $90, $45x2, because we cancelled our application but at no time was it made clear, and it doesn't include any verbiage on his rental agreement, that our deposit would also be forfeited In my mind, *** is just making things up as he goes I was always taught that your word is as good as your bond and it quickly became apparent that ***'s word carries no weight I'm a little confused and concerned about his feelings on honesty and would challenge his argument about running an business based off our limited interaction with him
