I am rejecting this response because: there are some points in Mr. R[redacted]s letter that I disagree with; Kevin R[redacted] began building us a bar with wood on the walls on March 1st.  As I said in my complaint the bar and the wood surrounding the bar, was done fine and we paid him $2818.75 for that.  We had to order edge tile pieces and we had to wait 2 weeks for it to come in, then it was another 2 weeks before Mr. R[redacted] got back to finish the tile job, after a text from me. I was in Washington State when Mr. R[redacted] came back to complete the tile job. He had already done some tile on the top of the bar.  I had said to him when that was done "It's uneven!" His comment was "When it's all grouted it will be level" It never was, grouting didn't change a thing. On May 8, 2017 I text him, told him that I was totally disappointed in the bar tile job and that it was unacceptable. Never got a response for him, so on May 11, 2017 I sent him another text asking him to call or text, so we could figure out some sort of compensation for the terrible tile job.  Tile that we paid over $1500 for was ruined!! And to tile job is the worst I've ever seen. As for presenting an invoice, as they were walking out the door, after I told them the tile on the bar had to be demoed and redone, so we should be paid $2000 for demo and new tile, they said, "Oh by the way you owe us $1000 for labor!" I told them they would not get paid.We are filing a claim against his bond on June 23, 2017.  He has already be sent a certified letter stating that.  As for posting unfavorable comment to our online, local website "Nextdoor" yes I did! I didn't want anyone to hire him, thinking he was a good tile guy.If you would like me to send you pictures, I can do that!!Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: Yes, Mr. R[redacted] did complete the job, but it was terrible. We have filed a complaint with CCB and the next step is litiagation.
