[redacted] employment ceased when he “no called-no showed" for a scheduled shift and seemingly took employment elsewhere.•[redacted] check was issued on 08/22/14 and mailed by me personally in MD (as I had missed the VA mail) on 08/25/14.•[redacted] neglected to put his apartment number on his tax forms which in turn caused the check to be mailed out without an apartment number. The check was returned to sender by his landlord.•By on or about August 27 [redacted] was requesting a new check. We offered to agree to this request at [redacted] expense or wait for the check to come back.•During the waiting period despite being called to Ireland on a family emergency, I remained in contact at all times with [redacted]•at no time was [redacted] given the runaround as he accuses.•The check did eventually make it back to the business office on 09/10/2014. Review: My final Check was supposed to be mailed two fridays ago from today 9/5/14. I am no longer employed by the company The [redacted] which is a sister company of restaurant Eve, because I received Full time employment elsewhere. I have yet to receive the check I have been receiving the run around from both HR employees Katharine L[redacted] and Amanda S[redacted]. When I called to inquire about my check on wednesday 9/3/14 Ms. L[redacted] sent me an E-mail about showing up at the restaurant and disturbing people, which I found interesting considering I only called about a check that she failed to send out properly two weeks ago. I never showed up to the establishment. Because of there error they said I must pay a 36 dollar stop payment to receive my check considering I didn't send it I thought that was unreasonable. At the end of the day I just want my check and to move forward but they are not helping to fix a situation they themselves caused.Desired Settlement: My money without the stop payment fee
