Restaurant Refurbishers claims that PayPal told them that we are skilled scam artist and to ignore all our correspondence.  We contacted PayPal and they assured us that was never said, which we believe.  We contacted PayPal after six months of never having three ovens that never worked.  Restaurant Refurbishers quit all contact with us before we contacted PayPal.Restaurant Refurbishers claims that PayPal did not get involved because of their  customer service.  PayPal does not cover warranty work.  They only cover:  if the item is never received or if you get the wrong item.  Restaurant Refurbishers claims that they had paid over $2,000.00 in shipping charges because of their great customers service.  This is hard to believe. Why would they pay $2,000.00 in shipping instead of sending a repairman out?  Especially when our six month warranty states that if an oven breaks, they will send out parts and if that doesn’t work then they will send a repairman.  The warranty was stated in an Ebay message before we purchased the ovens. The ovens broke, they did sent parts but the parts did not fix the ovens. .  We have a text that states they would send out a repairman.  They never did.  We never agreed to have the ovens picked up, they insisted we prepare two ovens, 600 lbs for a freight pickup.  Restaurant Refurbishers were adamant they did not want a repairman coming out looking at these ovens. They would rather pay $2,000.00 in shipping?Restaurant Refurbishers claims we ruined the blower fans motors.  They told me the fans are shutting off before they cool the blower fan motors.  The solution to this problem was to turn the ovens off via the breakers.  This is what their other customer does and it works out fine.  I refused.  The breaker box is not an off and on switch and this solution made absolutely no sense. Then Restaurant Refurbishers claims it is the electricity. I had a licensed  electrician talk to them on the phone while they tested the lines on our brand new building that was built by licensed professionals.  The electrician said it was fine,While the licensed electrician was out here, Restaurant Refurbisher had him test the oven (that never worked, didn’t even turn on). in three different spots for electricity.  The electrician told them the result, and Restaurant Refurbisher said that was impossible. The electrician told me what happened and said that he was a licensed electrician and he was sure of his results of this very simple test. The invoice Restaurant Refurbishers is referring to is from  [redacted].  We were told the ovens are from 1986 and the ovens have not been refurbished and need a lot of work. Restaurant Refurbishers did not acknowledge the invoice, nor send there own repairman out. We are still under warranty, when we received the ovens that I didn’t purchase or want, our warranty was extended to a year. It is really very simple, Restaurant Refurbishers needs to follow the warranty and send a repairman out (they approve of) for a diagnosis.  If the diagnosis states the ovens are damaged from the electricity the ovens are no longer under warranty.  If they state it is parts, they need to honor their warranty or return the two broken ovens.  I felt it was necessary to respond to this very outlandish letter, though I feel the only reasonable person to turn to is a judge in small claims court.

Hello,These customers were supposed to put a deposit down of 50% on a complete walk in unit for a market they were building! They came and inspected this unit around May 2016 and told us they wanted this unit and would take delivery no later than Oct 2016. They promised to pay us 50% down on a total...

balance of $35,000, but instead only gave us $3500 and promised to pay the balance of $14,000 within a month and take delivery within 3 months or lose their down payment! They instead paid another $3500 and told us it would be November before they could take delivery!reThey started calling and asking us for more time to pay their down payment and asking for help providing documentation for their contractors! Delivery kept getting moved out and( they were not able to fulfill their original down payment obligations! We spent over 60 hours of time helping them with zoning and other compliance issues and asking when they would take delivery! They kept pushing our deposit requirements and delivery deadlines further and further out and asking us for more and more technical advise. They changed their delivery dates 6 different times and refusing to provide us with the agreed upon deposit amount, we heard nothing from them until March 2017. When they called they said we must deliver within two weeks and said they were not going to pay us any more in advance which voided our contract! Our contract stated their deposit was only good for 90 days to hold this system! They voided our contract  by not paying 50% down and again by not taking delivery within 90 days! When they finally contacted us in March, they demanded a refund! We told them they voided their contract but we would still send them the entire cooling system for their deposit of $7000. They refused and started threatening us with legal action and verbal threats. The cooling system was worth at least $10,000 and was more than fair to help them. They voided our contract by not paying the required 50% down and by not taking delivery within 90 days! Thank you,Todd & MJ

Hello,These customers purchased our ovens thru payPal who advised us to ignore their correspondences because the customers were consummate scam artists and not to reply any more! PayPal found in our favor when these customers tried to get their money back; after we sent them threye replacement...

ovens, in two separate shipments and paid for for return shipment! Total shipping charges of over $2000! Prior to shipping new ovens, we tested ovens for 48 hours, and video taped each oven meeting and exceeding performance standards! These customers ruined three different blower motors while all other customers, over 120 ovens sold, only required one blower motor replacement! After turning to the manufacture with their blower motor failure claims, the maker stated only the customers electrical service having a defective leg could have caused these failures and would void anyone's warranty! We passed this information on to the customer who said their service was not to blame. We tried our best to treat this customer with good customer service and spent much more than was nessarary, paying for the freight to return the broken ovens which was the customers responsibility, and sending out more replacement ovens when their service was abviously the cause of the breakdown! We have bent over backward to try and please this customer with no success! We are in agreement with PayPal that they are scam artists and want no further contact with them! The invoice they sent is fabricated to reflect the total amount of their purchase in a last ditch effort to get their money back and does not even deserve a response! Please post our reply as a warning to others who sell to these people and hopefully save them the time and money we lost by selling to them!Thank you!
