We were NOT told it would take 10-weeks to get the nameplate when we met with the staff at Resthaven CemeteryThere were several family members in the room and no one heard their staff say that in the room or at the burial spot during our visit there. However, *** *** nameplate is now at the plot where she restsWe are happy that is finally completed.They have not replaced the correct vase at my grandfather's grave as they said they wouldAs you can see from the picture attached pictures the "new" vase is nothing more than a metal cylinder with a bottom attachedThe correct vase is a decorative vase with a design on it as displayed in the pictureOur family paid for the decorative vase on both plotsI would like one picture with both plots showing the correct vases, pleaseWe are still very disappointed with the services at Resthaven Cemetery and would like the correct vases and a formal apology for needing to continually follow up with them to get them to do THEIR JOB during our grieving period

I was disappointed in the service I received from Resthaven Park Cemetary. It seems like a great deal of their focus is on sales. I thought they fell short on helping make our time of burying our loved one go smoothly. Ours was a unique situation with some challenges regarding next of kin issues. Those issues should have been resolved prior to the day of burial. They neglected to address these issues until the last minute. I understand mistakes happen. I was told by the acting director that if he could be of any help to me to contact him. When I tried, he was never available and never returned my calls. The sales person was also not very helpful. I requested that the engraving of the tombstone be completed with the date of death added. All other engraving was completed prior to death. The sales person told me he would have it done as soon as possible. It has been over 2 mos. and it is still not done. I don't think that I should have even had to request this service. It should be done automatically. It had been already paid for for some time. I understand their were many problems with staff leaving. I hope that Dignity finds someone who is competent and can deal with the families in a more efficient and sensitive way, to take over the administrative duties of Resthaven Cemetary. This community deserves more from an organization to whom we turn when we need to bury our loved ones.
