I dropped off my snow blower for some routine seasonal service work at Dr. Saw on October 23, 2015
On November 16, 2015 I stopped by to pick it up as I had not heard anything from them since dropping it off, at which time I was told they were still waiting for a part. On November 17, 2015 they called me telling me the machine was ready for pickup and told me the invoice amount was $248.00
On November 18, 2015 they called to tell me someone had broken into their shop and stolen 3 snow blowers including mine. for the next 3 days they called me and updated me everyday on what was going on with the police reporting etc. on Friday November 20, 2015 they said there insurance adjuster was at the business.
Since November 20,2015 I have NOT heard from Dr. Saw nor there insurance company, I have called every couple of days, and they give me the same answer, they're waiting to hear back from the insurance. on December 2, 2015 I stopped in person to talk with the owner and all he had to say was, "waiting for insurance still" after telling him that wasn't good enough anymore, his response was: look your machine was 7-8 years old and probably not worth more then a couple hundred dollars so.... and he was more worried about his invoice for the $248.00 then getting my machine replaced/dealt with. I told him I would need to hear something from himself and or the insurance by Friday December 4, 2015 outlining what and how I would be compensated for my machine...Of course I didn't hear anything from Dr. Saw nor his insurance company. Review: Hello, earlier this year I purchased a colander manufactured by this company. Very quickly it started to rust and the paint peeling off, leaving chips in my food. It is not made for hot water, though it is not advertised in that way. At this point, the paint has almost completely peeled off and, after less than 6 months of use, it is completely unsafe. I went to the store where I purchased it to get information about the product. They said that I should contact Reston Lloyd, the maker of the product, and that the store carries exclusively that product. When I wrote to Reston Lloyd, sending pictures of the defective item, they said the colander might not be of their manufacture - however, the store owner only sells this product and it was clearly marked when I purchased it. They asked for a receipt, which I don't have, because it was several months ago--that is an inordinate request. What I can get is my credit card information with the name of the store and date of purchase.Desired Settlement: I want either a replacement colander, if they company can guarantee paint is not seeping into my food, or a refund.
