Dear [redacted],There seems to be a misunderstanding. First of all, I did not call her ugly, but was actually asking if she agreed to the statement that the business was in fact not responsible for the missing articles of clothing. I have a thick English accent, so that might have been why. As...

for the missing pants, my business cannot be held responsible because the dispute was brought up 24 hours after the transaction occurred. We cannot be held liable for clothing that has been lost under the care of the owner after it has left the premises. Had it been brought to my attention during her visit, it would have been a different situation. It very well could have been misplaced somewhere and my business would be wrongly blamed for it. I personally bag all articles of clothing, and I would not make the mistake of miscounting not just one, but two articles of clothing left in my care. Another employee also checks the clothes before it is put out on the clothing rack, ensuring correctness. As such, I cannot be held responsible for compensating [redacted].Regards,

Review: I had never used Reston Village Cleaners before but decided to give them a try. I dropped 9 articles of clothing off at Reston Village Cleaners and paid $80.14 to have them dry cleaned. Upon picking up the clothing and arriving at home I noticed that I had only received 7 articles of clothing and my 2 pairs of brand new $100 suit pants were not there. I went back to the store the following day and nicely asked if she could help locate my missing pants. The woman accused me of being a liar and refused to look for them. She refused to compensate me for the missing articles of clothing. She also would not refund the $12 portion of the dry cleaning bill that was for the missing pants. The woman called me a liar, told me I did not know how to count, and said I was ugly and should get out of her store. When I went outside to get my phone she locked the door and turned the open sign off.Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated $200 for the pants and $12 for the dry cleaning.
