Have tried to contact this company for a month they fail to return any of my calls. So asking for help to resolve 1ST . Before I take legal action
Had a leak in basement needed help fast since we just had new pad and carpet down. Called and asked to have someone come out and quickly vacuum up the water. So it would not cause any damage. I get home from work to go check the carpet it was still wet with lots of water. I ended up calling a 35 year veteran carpet rep he came over about an hour after I got home with 2 commercial carpet dryers and he sucked up the existing water in a matter of a half hour. He ended up folding back the rest of the carpeting and provided air under neath the carpet backing so it would dry with out mold and odors It took 2 days before it was dry. He did an excellent job and there is no odor and no stains. When he left I saw the bill from Guarantee systems for 300.00 I wanted to call them that night .The receipt they left my wife had no address was written on a piece of scrap paper they had in there truck the receipt looked like a 3rd grader made it. I went back on line to fine there phone number again . I called and talked To Sos about why the bill was 300.00 for vacuuming water only . I Told him my basement carpet is soaked yet . He asked if he could come out and look at it I told him I had someone professional that already took care of it . I told him all I requested was to vacuum the water up. He said He was sorry and said that he would refund my 300.00 dollars back. The guys that did the work told my wife we would get a receipt from the company in the mail. Which they never mailed to us. I mentioned to him as well about his negative reviews and he told me that one guy is giving him bad reviews. I made a made a big mistake not doing my research by checking there reviews. Seems like they like to dodge there customers. Also I like to ad they burned to large holes in my lawn from there truck. I have hired several carpet cleaners etc over the years and never been charged that much for what little they did. I have waited over 30 days for a check in the mail and my receipt . I Have made several attempts to contact Sos he has a service that answers all his calls so it makes it difficult to reach him or anybody there. I will wait to hear from this company before we take other legal actions.

Desired Outcome

I need Guarantee Systems to refund the 300 .00 they promised to refund. Also 50.00 for dirt and lawn repair caused by there trucks . I have made several attempts to contact Sos and the company. They do not return phone calls or respond back the only time I was able to talk to someone was on the 6th of September . They refuse to return calls.

Initial call came through at 11:15

Call to Dave to mitigate home - carpet cleaning at noon cancelled to accommodate the *** ER water call.

Dave confirmed with the insured *** where he was allowed to park his van

After viewing the affected area Dave extracted the water and per IICRC standards Dave then suggested/asked approval to pull back carpet and pad and leave drying equipment on-site to prevent any mold. Was instructed by *** that they would perform all other mitigation and that Guarantee System was only to extract. Dave did leave *** a bottle of anti-microbial and directions on how to apply once they pulled back the carpet and pad. Per ***'s request, she felt the carpet was still wet, Dave, after packing all his equipment into the van, went and removed, set up and extracted the carpet again to reassure the homeowner.

The owner Sos R did talk to Mr. initially and Mr. was very hostile and threatening during the conversation. We feel that Guarantee System performed the services requested and charged fairly. We generally perform insurance claims so we use *** to build our estimates per industry standards, we DO NOT make out own pricing. I have attached the estimate for the *** job.

Please note that per a 9/11/18 message Mr. allegedly noticed large holes burned into his wall from our equipment - this is 6 days after we completed the mitigation.

Please note that per a 9/19/18 message from Mr. he has now allegedly noticed lawn damage he feels was caused by our service van, again, Dave did confirm with the homeowner *** where to park the van and states that he did NOT leave any lawn damage- this is 14 days after we completed mitigation.

Wow A very dishonest owner of this company tells me he understands and will give me a full refund then runs to the bank to cash the check. The only one who got hostile was Sos when I mentioned all the negative reviews. I asked him to explain the reviews. Then he started to get hostile. I wanted to make that clear on the hostile part. Sos told me matter of fact he stopped me an a sentence and said stop I will refund your money in full. So now I know what kind of company this is very dishonest one. Tammy after all the phone calls made to your company you were no were to be found. I asked to speak to a manager and the owner but yet you choose not to return none of my calls not one was returned. Were was this secretary when I called . There hired answering service never once said there was a secretary. When I called for service I ask them only to vacuum up the water that's it nothing more when my wife called and told me how much they were charging I told them to pack it up. I have used professional companies before and never was charged 300.00 . I Have had all our rooms cleaned for less then that. Also I never signed a contract to put chemicals down since we have pets they never explained if there were any harmful affects. There instructions are only to vaccum up the water. That's it When I got home carpets were still soaked. Im not here to argue I want the refund promised my Sos R .
They have ignored all my calls to them they choose not to return my phone calls. I called to see about the refund I was told several times they will relay the message. Over thirty days of no response. Also the 2 burn marks in my lawn didn't show up until 5 days or later. The other companies in the past have put burn pads under there truck to protect my lawn . Sos you company didn't care. Sos we had a conversation last month u agreed to give me a refund. are you not a man of your word. Ive waited for nearly over a month for the refund you promised. If I don't get the refund you promised I will be seeing you in 62A

We received a call from ***. She had an air conditioner leak. We explained our process. She signed the service agreement. We did the process, and left the job.
Shortly thereafter, I was informed that we've received aggressive communication from an unsatisfied 'customer'- ***. *** is not our customer. We don't know who *** is. None of us have seen him.

In regards to 'Pricing & Process': Our entire business process is compliant with the IICRC- Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. The pricing is set. The process is standardized.
In regards this job, the normal billing would yield $322.06. In regards to this scenario, my technician thought it appropriate to round the number to $300, knowing that the expense was 'out of pocket'.

I question Mr. intentions.
During our initial correspondence, Mr. represented that he held a high ranking position with the Revdex.com. He doesn't.
During our initial correspondence, he also threatened to degrade our internet presence.

Our approach.
We would like to stop thinking about Mr.. I've confirmed with my bookkeeper that our customer: ***, did send us a check for $300.00, and that check has cleared.
If for no other reason than embarrassment, we'll immediately pay the $300.00.
We'll need to receive verbal confirmation from the customer: ***. This can be done over the phone.

This situation is discouraging at best, fraudulent otherwise.

Mr R I don't care for your untruthful accusations. I am very shocked with your responses since we did come to an agreement of the refund on 9/6/2018 at 12:30 pm for the check that you received. Also if you would of made a copy of the check you would of noticed Mr R that my Name is on the check as holder of the account. Also I was the one who made the 1st call to your office . I found your company through ***. I made all the decisions to call guaranteed. Which was only 2 times 1 for service and one the following day to complain. That was the same day listed above when Mr R agreed to refund the 300.00. I am extremely upset with Mr Rs accusations and untruthfull ness. Mr R mentioned Fraud . Mr R you are very aware of your reviews whiched I mentioned to you on the 6th of September about your reviews and a certain amount of customers had made bad reviews against your company and I have read them I also brought those to your attention and asked you about them on the 9/6/2018. Which you blamed your reviews on one guy. Again refund the 300.00 as you promised .
