Restoring Data did a great job for me, especially since I had to go back several times - I kept remembering other files that I needed from the broken drive! They were always very friendly and professional, and of course retrieved all the data I needed

"Just wanted to thank Monty and ReStoring Data for Excellent Communication and Restore work. Another company had our portable drive for over 3 months saying it's really complicated and is taking time. After the long period I found he was not doing anything. He quoted large dollar values. I'm glad I did my research. These guys were the 7th (SEVENTH!) I phoned.

Everyone else just didn't "feel right" for one reason or another. I had some who had problems speaking English, some who seemed to operate out of their basement on a part-time basis, others who didn't appear interested in accepting work, even those that tried blinding me with science - claiming things that I already knew were complete rubbish or would be a waste of time.

After 2+ hours of ringing round numbers found via Google, I called "ReStoringData". They have a dedicated workforce who all have their individual jobs and do them very well. From the initial phonecall & emails with Monty (front desk & sales director), through to emails & phone conversations with Polina (their case manager) and the "unnamed tech guru" who did the recovery, I could not be more impressed with the level of customer service I received.

Their website, office/facilities, ease of payment - EVERYTHING about them screams quality.

There are a lot of people out there offering this type of service. I could not be happier that I chose "ReStoringData".

If I'm ever stupid enough to not back up my data and need a recovery service in the future, I'd return to them immediately. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Awesome people.

I just want to say that my experience with ReStoringData has been excellent and I would recommend it to anyone that is lookin to restore information from their hard drives.
The customer service was very good and the restoration was in the time that was scheduled.

ReStoring Data managed to somehow restore 3GB (all) of my photos, videos, and downloads off a very badly corroded cellphone. They kept in contact with me during the entire process and were easy to deal with and successful. I am 100% satisfied with the work they performed for me.

I was devastated when I thought that I had lost my data on an external drive recently. The data included about 20,000 files comprised of scanned photos going back to 1875! My local electronic store quoted me between 14 to 16 hundred dollars to recover my data, with no guarantee whatsoever. Unhappy with their quote I found RDI on the computer and requested a quote from them. Their correspondence with me was so positive and reassuring I decided to send my drive to them for recovery. Did I mention that their quote was almost 1/2 of my local company? The entire process was incredibly fast and accurate. I can't say enough about this company and it's employees. Based on the correspondence alone I would have gone with them! Incidentally I have since gone to my local electronics store and told them of my experience with RDI., and they have promised to contact them for help from now on. They were previously using a company in Montreal.

My husband and I keep all of our business files on our laptop. Unfortunately we had a virus that resided most of our files. I recently had to use the services of ReStoring Data. I dropped off my failed 2TB external hard drive to the downtown Toronto location and within 3 days I had a quote with a explanation of the problem and timeline for repair. I didn't realize they are located in the Vancouver area so that alone was amazing. The final cost of the repair was exactly as they quoted, I think the repair was one day longer then quoted and that was over the recent holiday period, so I'm sure staff at their end were on holidays with their families and I can appreciate that. Throughout the repair process Ilana was in constant contact with me. I now have my external hard drive back that mostly filled with work related and vacation photo's, I have yet to find (or not find) any missing photos. I can't say thank you enough to Ilana and the team at ReStoring. Their response was fast, their quote was bang on, their constant customer service communication is a model many companies could learn from. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, although I hope I never have to!
