I cannot say enough about how Results has changed my life in such a positive way.
Three years ago I gave myself a Mother’s Day gift-joining a 6 week 20lb weight loss challenge. I felt out of control with my health and fitness and had done the yo-yo thing for 40 years. Having seen the results my neighbors experienced on the Results journey, I thought why not.
I admit when I first stepped into Results I was a bit scared. I had not excercised in years and I had no idea what was ahead, other than extreme hope and desire to improve my health and fitness so I can grow old as gracefully as possible.
Within minutes of walking through the door I was put at ease. Everyone was so welcoming, so energetic and so enthusiastic about my being there.
As the workout started however I again retreated into fear. Oh my gosh, I discovered I could not even do 2 jumping jacks without getting totally winded. I was so embarrassed. The coaches however immediately put me at ease and showed me modifications for my current fitness level. They continued to do this throughout the class that day and days to come. They continued to encourage me and met me where I was. They gave me confidence as I succeeded in modifications and as I became stronger and more fit, they modified my movements again and again.
Now, three years later, I have maintained a 30lb weight loss and continue to increase my strength and improve my endurance. I am living my “why”. To grow old gracefully and I could not happier.
Icing on the cake? Throughout this entire pandemic shut down, Results quickly pulled together live zoom classes that keep us moving, teach us how to increase strength with and without use of weights and gym equipment, provide ongoing nutrition coaching, corrective excercise to teach us the importance of stretching and mobility to prevent injury and more. All of this they deliver with the same enthusiasm And fun they bring in the gym All the while watching the monitors to provide continued coaching throughout each movement and exercise class. What can I say I LOVE MY FITFAM and highly recommend Results to anyone that wants to succeed in their fitness journey!

I have a balance of $805 credit for Gym Membership and a contract. The Gym wants to change the terms and conditions on how the membership funds are used. I want a refund.

It looks like there has been some form of miscommunication between Mr *** and our staff at her home location. We are not looking to modify any terms of the agreement that we have with Ms *** and have never stated that we were looking to modify her current agreement. We abide by our agreements with our clients. This has been awknowledged in email corespondences with her. We would love to be able to provide the renegotiated services agreed upon in her 2016 agreement with us and feel her ask of a refund from a 2014 payment is unjustified. Please use the services as agreed upon and that are available to service you throughout the entire year Ms ***. We have abided by an egregious vacation hold date of over a year with you and would ask for you to complete out your service term in a reasonable time frame from your original expiration date. We wish you only the best with your health and fitness and regret any misunderstanding between you and our team.

I purchased a prepaid, 10 month, membership. Prior to the expiration of my membership, the gym contacted me, asking if I wished to renew my membership - I informed them that I would not be returning or buying another membership. Since my membership has expired, they have charged me for a monthly membership fee. I didn't realize this was happening for several months when I discovered unknown charges to my credit card. They are now telling me that
I didn't fill out a form required for cancelation. At no point, previously, was I told that I needed to fill out a cancelation form, or that my termed membership would automatically renew.

We have looked in to *** complaint and would love to work with her on this matter. *** has also filed a credit card protest against the charges and those charges were successfully defended and subsequently approved by her credit card company given the documentation provided to them at that time. The rollover payments are a valid part of the written agreement that *** signed and was provided a copy of. We would be more than happy to provide *** a subsequent copy of her agreement that outlines the rollover, the date, and payment amount. The agreement also outlines the proper guidelines on how to cancel her membership if she did not choose to continue. We do regret that any communication with *** did not result in her completing a cancellation request as outlined in her agreement with our company and therefore would of course like to work with her in bringing a resolution to this matter.

I signed up for a 30 day challenge and at the end they entice you with membership offer to be paid in full for 6 or 10 months. What they DON'T clearly tell you is that when that is done, it rolls over to a month to month contract that is $159 a month.

So not knowing that it rolled into month to month, they tell me that I can only cancel by coming to the gym personally to sign a contract. So I did that. BUT even after doing that, they asked me to be liable for an ADDITIONAL month because after you cancel, you need to give them 30 day written notice.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a scam.

When I signed the contract they said I was paid until February and that’s the commitment. The contract does not contain a box that says I agree for it to go to month to month. It only listed terms of renewal. They are asking me to pay $159 because I came in to cancel on April 15th after getting several calls that my auto payment did not go through. How was I supposed to cancel a month to month membership on time when I wasn’t even aware I was on a month to month agreement?

I joined the Results gym in August 2018 to participate in their 6-week transformation challenge. As part of the program, I paid about $300 to join the transformation challenge. The advertising stated that if I completed the challenge, which was to lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks, I'd be able to get a full refund. If the challenge was not completed, Results indicated there were other options for on-going membership that the fee I had paid could be used for.

Fast forward 6 weeks, I did not meet the challenge and consulted with the employees on my options. They indicated the best option would be to pay around another $200 and extend my membership at the gym through the end of December (end of the year). Since I had already paid $300, I felt that another $200 for another couple of months was a good deal.

During this consultation, no where did the employees mention that I was signing up for a contract that would extend beyond December 2018. They made it sound as if this was a good alternative since I didn't meet the challenge objectives to get another few months of services and not be completely out of pocket the initial $300.

Fast forward to January 2019, I noticed on my credit card statement that I had been charged $109 for the month of January. I called Results right away to complain about this and to ask for a refund since I had no longer been using the services and hadn't for almost two months. Again, I thought I had paid till December 2018 and thats it. The representative told me that I was on a contract and needed to give 30-days notice to cancel. I demanded to speak to a manager because it was deceptive practice and that was not what I was told. They told me someone would call me back, which never happened. I've since called multiple times and nobody answers the phone. In the meantime, I called a separate phone # for a billing company and provided written notice to cancel my service. The billing Company told me since I didnt give 30-days notice, I was going to be billed for both January and February.

I've since called my credit card company to let them know of the dispute, but now I keep getting emails from Results that I need to pay for both January and February. This is strange as I still have a charge on my card for $109, so i'm not sure why they are asking for two months of payments. I don't want this case going to collections and it is deceptive practices that are being implemented by Results. Again, nothing was ever discussed for any type of membership beyond year-end 2018.

I am not the only one either. You can go to any of their locations *** pages and you will find numerous reviews stating the same type of problem as me. They dont return phone calls and refer you to a billing company, who does not have any answers.

This is borderline fraud and I want this to be well known to the ***. Particularly in this day in age with technology, the *** reviews offer proof that i'm not the only one. If they were more open and disclose in their selling practices, this would not happen.

When I went to orientation, I was told that I have 21 days trial for only 21$ where I could cancel my membership anytime. So after visiting the gym couple times, I figured out it doesn't work for me, so I reached out to customer service to cancel my membership with them. I was ignored and nobody responded for a week, so I reached out by email to them again. And once again I was ignored for whole week. Later on that week I found out that I need to complete some sorts of requirements in order to cancel my membership, while on orientation I was told that I need to complete those If I want to receive refund if I don't like the gym. And since I didn't complete those requirements, they went ahead and switched me to membership until 2032!!! With a price of 160 dollars a month which I literally can not afford. And now I've been told that I have to pay 200 dollars in order to cancel my membership and if I don't pay that much, they will not cancel my membership with them.

I signed a contract with them in Elk Grove with a friend, since we both live out of town (over 25 miles away) they said when we want to cancel they will alllw us to do so. When I went to cancel my membership with them, they asked for my i.d with my new address on there so they can go ahead and do that, so I did and they said no we need a rental agreement, I told them I live with family so I don’t have one and they asked me for i.d and now all of a sudden that wouldn’t work. They took $500 from my NEW bank account, they refuse to cancel my membership even tho I’ve given them all my info to do so. They did the same with my friend who signed up with me, but had no problem canceling her account even tho she gave them the same info as I did. Now they keep charging my monthly and won’t cancel my account with them. I got promoted to manager at my job so I told them I won’t be able to make it there anymore and I’d like to cancel my membership with them, after I went through all this with them, they emailed me “LOL”, not ok. They are hostile and unprofessional. They are stealing money from me and I can’t afford for this to happen. They refuse to cancel my account and I have no choice but to complain now. I am almost at the point where I can’t pay my rent at home because they keep stealing from me. I would like my membership with them to be gone, I’ve been dealing with them for 5 months now and they won’t resolve this. I called them and no cal back, when I did get a call back they pretty much said they can’t do anything for me... I need this to be resolved or I will be homeless because they are taking money from me. They need to be more reasonable with their costumers. The fact that they said I have to move out from the home I’ve been in for 6 years is beyond me. This company is a fraud and has taken money from multiple people.

Our Elk Grove team escalated this issue and I have personally reached out to Ms *** by phone and email and have yet to hear back from her. We would be more than happy to find a solution to her issue as we did for her friend. Ms *** can contact me at [email protected] and we can arrange a time to meet or speak to resolve this matter. Her current agreement is a valid agreement that we stand behind. Please see below on our last corespondance with Ms ***:Hello ***, my name is *** and I represent Results Transformation Centers. The Elk Grove team escalated your client issue to me and I would like to do our best to help you out. I notice that you are in a termed agreement with Results Transformation Centers that has an outstanding term still but are looking to cancel out of your program early. The team said that you referenced moving from the original location that you first joined Results with. I was also informed that the team does not have any record of your cancellation request form being submitted.Do you have anything that we can use as proof of your mailing in your cancellation request? We did not receive this via a certified mailing like we usually suggest when someoen chooses to use the postal service to send in dated materials, especially since we do take cancellations forms via email so that the dates can be established for you.If you can provide us any proof (receipt or otherwise) that we can track down your undelivered mailing then we will be more than happy to work with you on getting your program back dated. Any early cancellation request by clause must be also acompanied by formal proof of move (a new utility bill, water, sewer, or power). We can always accept a new submission with the proof of move attached as well in lieu of the 80% early termination fee. There is also an early termination move fee of $100 that we can in good faith waive for you as well. Please forward any receipt of mailing or date stamped receipt from your postal servicer that you sent this request by and we can always use that date as your official notice date. Short of that, our records show that we had sent you over a request to cancel form that was never returned to us.I look forward to helping you resolve this issue as soon as possible. Please help us help you. Have a wonderful day.

I signed for 21 Day weight loss detox for $21 and during orientation, the owner *** informed us that the program was $21 and no hidden fees. After completing my 21-day detox program. I received a call from the collection agency stating I owe results transformation $368.00 because when I signed up for the program I also signed up for the annual membership and the only way to be released from the contract is moving 25 miles from Elk Grove Gym or medical purposes. *** stated during orientation that there were no hidden fees.

Ms *** signed up for a 3 month membership that started off with an introductory 21 day period at which time she was under our 21 day promise pledge. This pledge was reviewed during the hour or so orientation where we educated our prospective clients on how the program works. Our promise pledge is a conditional guarantee where abouts our clients may experience everything that we have to offer and that if during their introductory 21 days met their agreement that they are eligible to cancel and receive a refund for the time period. Ms *** agreed to the terms in writting and we also provide her with a copy of her signed agreement a long with a separate addendum card reviewing the promise pledge. Our records indicate that Mr *** did not fulfill the conditions and did not request to cancel her membership at the finishing weigh in for the program. By not submitting the request or satisfying the conditional guarantee, her initial 3 month term that she agreed in writting took effect. We would be more than happy to work with Ms *** on an equitable solution but do stand by our program and our agreement. Included below are Ms ***'s intials to the facts stated above and we are also more than happy to provide Ms *** an additional copy of her agreement. She may obtain one by contacting her home Results location at *** or by contacting our payment processor at ***.Ms *** is currently in a default status per the terms of her fully executed service agreement per our records. If she feels our records are in error she may also contact me at *** to provide any documentations that support her viewpoint and we will of course override any human errors that may have occurred if any in fact exist.

I have been trying to cancel my membership since 7/2017. I first signed up for the 21 detox program and in 7/2017 and turned in a cancellation notice to the front desk. They claim they never received it. I don’t know if it was misplaced or what happened but the issue is that I have been trying to cancel. I have called numerous times and sent various emails and have requested to speak to the superior or whoever is in charge and they never get back to me. I’m beyond frustrated because I have tried for months to cancel a membership I haven’t even used since 7/2017. I turned in the cancellation form to a young lady in the front desk and all she said was she would take care of it and I trusted her to do so. I wanted to resolve this matter directly with the gym but they don’t seem to care. I’m not about bashing any business I just want them to acknowledge my issue and work with me to resolve it. Like I have mentioned in my emails it’s often difficult for me to go to the gym and talk to someone about this because I travel for work and often times gone for weeks and months at a time so I rely on email and phone calls. It’s very disappointing that this business has not taken the time to address this issue with me and I hope someone will contact me to resolve this matter.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I have been attempting to cancel my membership with the gym with multiple employees at different levels in several locations. My journey with Results Transformation began when I signed up for their 5 Week Challenege with ***. This gym is absolutely BIG on sales and fail to express and inform requirements and conditions needed to satisfy both ends of the deal. My husband and I signed up for 2 One-Year Memberships after we completed the challenge and paid a total of over $2,000. The sign up process to enroll into a membership was that of a brief one of which one again nothing was explained. Now that I am having issues no one wants to take ownership. I am getting tossed around person to person and after finally reaching the owner ***, he stopped replying stating he was off to church. That is absolutely sad when a man of faith constitially takes advantage of a mother of a 5 month old; because of this stress, I am no longer able to breastfeed. Results Transformation is the kind of gym that gives other gyms in the industry a bad rap. I understand why people are so hesitant to commit anywhere for fear of treatment of exactly what I am going through. I am so sad and disappointed that my daughter in turn had to suffer for the stress endured by this establishment. No one wants to assist and keep referring to ‘it was in the agreement’. Very safe answer when you are being rushed to sign a document upon sign up that you have it had a chance to review yet. I was rushed in the process and had no time to comprehend the agreement. Documents I have turned in have been ‘lost’ and I have confirmation of this. I feel taken advantage of and no longer wish to associate with this organization or their employees. Often their chants will include curse words or statements like ‘big booty hoe’ and I do not talk like that and have been called out on not participating by not repeating it.

When I signed up I was apparently lied to that with a 12 month agreements that I could cancel any time with a 30 days notice. I am aware of what their papers say however I was verbally told something else in order to get me to agree to the contract. About a week later I accepted a new job and with being a student as well, results class hours do not Coincide. After multiple attempts of stopping by, and a handful of emails, I was told to submit a cancellation form. However, the issue is still on going and was never resolved.

Our records indicate that we do not have a client by the name of ***. If Ms *** joined under another name, please have her contact me at *** to help resolve her issue. We blanketly refute the charge that our team misrepresented an agreement. A person would save a considerable amount by joining under our annual term rather than our 6 or No-Term Options. All of our agreements are clearly written and terms clearly expressed in writing so that any verbal confusion is not an issue. Our annual agreement also come with early termination clauses so that one can cancel out early on their program if their situation changes. We would be more than happy to help resolve any contract disputes and help Ms. resolve her agreement once we can identify her properly.

The only other last name I’ve had is ***, which is no longer my last name.

Results Transformation Center Response • Jan 29, 2018

Thank you ***. We do have you in our systems as ***. Our records do show a full executed membership agreement with signatures from you in 3 places confirming the terms and conditions of the agreement for the program that you purchased. Our agreement with you is that you may terminate early by paying the applicable early termination fee outlined on your agreement. Since you agreement is still in the early months, we would also be willing to convert you to our No-Term membership option as you would have had that option when signing up. The fee for that program is $30 more per month with a 1st and a last month payment due at the time of sign up. You can contact me at *** or *** to finalize the details of this early termination or conversion.

I came to a gym I previously attended and signed up for a membership originally negotiated to barter my services of helping around the gym in exchange for a free membership. After doing a couple days re-discussed the matter with managing member at the gym who I advised that I could no longer commit to this with young children and the job I was working , I was advised that was fine. at this time it was still a goal of mine so I made an arrangement to pay pay biweekly , shortly after I set up arrangement (days) I spoke with same managing member adv him that I lost job no way I could commit to program lost job unexpectedly don't even know how gonna pay rent. This entire time I was under the impression that this membership was no longer I only attended two times since set arrangement and then canceled haven't been since cancelled. Recently was contacted by another company (ASF) trying to collect on a membership that was cancelled that I haven't not been to in close to a year. So I reach out to same managing member once again saying why if was cancelled am I receiving emails about declined payments and a company collecting on cancelled membership he referred me to a billing # and advised me that I never cancelled with me. I would never have a membership ans be paying for it and not be using it. The reason I cancelled was because I couldn't afford due to loss of job. up until now I was like a walking advertisement for this program I have previously don't business with them and they were great , expensive but great. I was told this was a family and that we were here to help each other then why would this be done to me and knowing the conversation that took place I didn't even file for a refund from my credit card for the money I didn't authorize to come out coming out sooner than authorized and now this. I have really been working on building my credit I don't want anything to ruin the progress that ive been trying to make. I called the company previously when I first received the declined payments to my email for payment and was told was in error please help. spoke with a guy name seth with Asf adv me that I owe 12 paymnts of $129.

Mrs *** reached out to us following multiple attempts by our company to collect on past due membership dues. We would be more than willing to work with Mrs *** as proven in her own statements when we offered her a complimentary membership for inkind help around the gym. Our records indicate that Mrs *** has a past due status and has not submitted a cancellation form per her agreement terms to start the process. If our records are in error, we would be more than happy to correct the matter and accept any cancellation documentation that Mrs *** has submitted as proof of any previous cancellation submissions. All of our clients get copies of their agrrements with us whether that agreement is for joining and cancelling programs.

I am rejecting this response because: As I explained there has been no attempt to contact me we are now nearly 8 months latter I have only receive emails about payment and when I initially got I called and asked why when it was canceled and was advised it was in error today was the first time I received a call and it was from a third party nor have I ever received anything by mail

Results Transformation Center Response • Jan 22, 2018

We have made numerous attempts to contact the client. The fully executed membership agreement outlines the terms of cancellation and how to cancel a membership. Our company stands by our agreements and will follow through on the terms that we have agreed to with our clients. As stated before, we have no records of any cancellation attempts on the part of Mrs ***. If she can provide documentations that shows a valid cancellation request per the terms of her agreement than we will be more than happy to use such documentation if any human errors have been made on the part of a Results representative. Our records indiccate that no such attempt was made and that Mrs ***' account is in a default status. We have a payment processor that handles such agreements and defaults and her program will remain in a default status until such time that she is able to bring the account back to good standing and to statifsy the terms of her written agreement. If Mrs *** would like a second copy of her agreement we would be more than happy to supply her with such a copy. Such a request can occur with our billing company ASF Payment solutions or at her original joining location.

This company uses predatory business practices and does not communicate well to the consumer. They allowed my husband to sign me up for a membership for 3 months. He signed the contract and they collected payment from him. When I first showed up to try out the gym they handed me the paperwork and told me to initial in the areas of the contract they wanted me to initial. I then asked about the cancellation policy. They stated I had a 5 day waiting period to cancel. Since my husband signed me up and it had already been 5 days I was not given the opportunity to cancel. I feel that the contract was not fairly written up and that they used this as a way to lock the member into the contract. I should have been given the 5 days to cancel as it was my membership. Also they should have never let my husband pay sign my membership. I allowed the 3 months to pass and found out I was charged again after the 3 months. They had a cancellation policy stating I needed to give 30 day notice. I went and gave written notice and because it was a few days past the beginning of the month I was charged again. This contract was not fairly communicated as it was not initially presented to me in a manner where I could review the document. This company preys on the community and is unethical in their practices.

We apologize about the experience with our Elk Grove location which seems to be less than perfect since Mrs *** decided to file a complaint with Revdex.com, and post a negative review on ***, rather than deal with the proper channels that our business offers our clients. We would love to work with Mrs. on a resolution to this matter if given the chance and to serve her health and fitness. We do dispute, however, that ANY dishonest or predatory practices exist with both our company policies or this transaction. Mrs *** executed an agreement for a special discounted 20% Off 3 month membership. She, herself, completed the agreement and signed to the terms of our membership. No notice was ever given to club management regarding Mrs.’s wish to rescind her program and none of our records show such a request at the club level. In fact, Mrs *** did utilize the program several times during the start of her membership but subsequently stopped coming to the club. Her membership agreement clearly outlines the terms and conditions and her rollover to a monthly paid program following the 3 month discounted period. Mrs *** also executed a cancellation form on 12/4/2017 further confirming her understanding of the membership and the cancellation period/policy. Clearly, however, we missed the mark somewhere along the line on conveying the importance of the integrity of our program to Mrs *** and how our management is extremely accessible to deal with membership complaints/issues in a timely and justly manner. A copy of the membership agreement and subsequent cancellation form, which are both signed by the client are available at the club or via US Mail, and were provided to the Mrs *** upon execution of the agreements. She may request further copies by contacting us at *** We have helped thousands of people in our program. We do it in a fun, supportive and transparent environment. We also feel very disappointed that a client who received our services would resort to a Revdex.com complaint before even offering us the opportunity to equitably assist. Please understand that we believe we have done right by our former client in this case. We also believe that even in business, relationships are important, and that we have lived up to our just agreements with Mrs ***. We will continue to make every effort to coach and improve the communication from our employees to our Fit Family (clients). We regret this scenario where the success of a client did not result in a good, long term relationship, but we are very pleased to know that we helped Mr and Mrs *** during their time with us. If Mrs *** has any records or contacts with the Elk Grove location, that have not been brought to our attention, we will definitely work with her on resolving such issues, promises, or agreements that were made on behalf of our business.

I am rejecting this response because:I see no resolve as they are not offering to refund any charges.

Yes the contract was signed but I was not given the 5 day cancellation required by the law as my husband signed me up. I had asked the lady at the front desk when I initialed the contract but she stated it was too late to cancel. Transformation should not be going over a contract with someone who is not the member. That is unfair business practices when there are so many fine details that they use to lock in the client regarding payment.

I attempted to resolve this issue 3-4 times and spoke with multiple staff in the Elk Grove location. Messages were left for the owner prior to my reviews and my complaint being filed. There was no response by the owner to my multiple requests to speak with him. He needs to follow up with his staff instead of trying to blame the customer. Transformations may help some people but there are many complaints by many members who have been taken advantage of them them and the way they do business.

I will continue to file complaints until they do what is right and refund my payment.

I sent this email to two people that are apart of the results team. One guys name was ***, the other guys name was *** still have got no response from either people.

I said:
Hello ***,

My name is *** me and my sister *** joined the Strong Finish for 28days challenge, and upon signing up we understood that we had to be active on *** and workout at least 10 days “in order to get our money back” from results as explained from youe team. My concern was being in a contract and one of your team members from the Natomas , Sacramento location responded “it’s not like that you can cancel on the last day and get your money back”. So we signed up. Not at all during the orientation was it explained that if you don’t show up you will get charged the total amount $387 for the non completion. My issue is that I’m leaving the state on 12.30.17 which is the same day as the final weigh in so I asked the natomas representative name ***, can we reschedule for a earlier time for the weigh in and she states “ let me chexk first if you did the 10 days because if you didn’t it’s pointless to try to cancel” and then I explained to her that the experience I had at the orientation with one of the team members and *** states” well our staff are pretty well trained so I’m not sure about that” she was denying what I was stating. Then later in the conversation I asked “can’t I just block your charges on my credit card and that is a way of canceling “ *** said “ yeah but not necessarily because people do the same thing as you are , you’ll just go in to collections and still have to pay that 129 for 3 months” I said “ that’s kind of ripping people off because you get people all excited about losing weight etc. and barely disclose or cone clear about the “end” result if you can't make it or like in my case a family situation pops up and its out of state “ I was also asked “ can’t you just switch your flight” from a different representative. I’ve had a horrible experience with this company, mind you the app was not even working for my sister or me to schedule a class , very difficult. And instead of this being a life changing experience it’s actually horrible and I regret joining this program under a lie and the wrong impression. I will not pay that either and if I have to take it to court , I will do that as well. Thank you for your response and time to read this around the holidays (2 days before NYE).

Sincerely

I have emailed and called multiple times to have my number removed from the harassing phone calls I get from your facility daily. Since I have been told twice that I am removed from your system and that has proven untrue, this is my formal complaint against Results Transformation Center for harassment via my cell phone and abuse of information gathered.
