Review: [redacted] failed to provide me my resume in time to submit it to the job that I'm applying for. I gave him 1 week to make the resume(1-2 business days) on their website. I kept following up every single day for one week he finally called me back on the third day but until now I have not received my resume that I already paid. This business is a scam .Desired Settlement: Refund-Credit Card Credit

Review: “I needed a

resume to be done. It was old, and needed a lot of updating. They asked that I

send the old resume in. I did, they then changed a couple of things, but kept

everything I already had. I then asked to be sure to add in a lit (emailed list)

of items to incorporate as I am changing job fields and wanted to cater more to

the technical side of Project Management - they assured me they could do this -

and didn't want me "to do the heavy lifting" I did get a resume back,

it was ok, but mostly what I already had with some added colors and shading. I

asked them to remove this, and submitted a NEW resume that I have been working

on for weeks in hopes to have this adjusted and "perfected" as they

have these "certified writers" now they are confused. I guess they

are not able to give me "as many edits as needed until satisfied" -

they keep asking me questions, and I keep saying make a new edit. It has taken

A LOT OF MY TIME, and I figured paying someone 129$ would help ease this time

burden. Very wrong. I have asked for half of my money back, I guess, for the

resume, they can only offer 35$ refund, and have. I do not feel as though

I should have to pay for any of the resume at this point due to being attacked

6/** on the phone, I was accused of poor ethics, manners, I will not find a new

job, etc and called delusional all by being yelled at by Justin.

Overall, what I received back from them was they do not listen, nor

"understand anything" I was trying to say. Yelled at me for

saying I was going on vacation, only trying to express my timeline and how long

it had taken thus far. Yes I have a schedule that is demanding, and I did

not attach them for that, I was attacked for it. I have a 10 month old

baby and a deployed husband, I have trouble finding time. I hired a

company to help. Instead my character was attacked. The "rude

comments" I displayed in email ie - "how are you still in

business?" and "do you have real writers" seemed like very

legitimate questions because of the service I was receiving. I never once

attacked Justin personally, once he called me names - I was done. I want

my money back, and if it was up to me the company should be closed. Desired Settlement: I expect a 50% refund for my time, and the hassle I went through to get, well, pretty much nothing that I approved of. I did not get any edits, nor any customer service willing to help.

Review: Me (Customer): Is someone going to revise my resume? I never heard back. 10-**-13

Resume My Career Response: You submitted your revisions last night after our office was closed for the evening. We received your request today. You should have everything in 1-2 business days. 10-**-13

Me (Customer): I will be contacting the Revdex.com for a full refund. You did not hold true to our contract agreement. 10 days ago I expressed a dissatisfaction with the resume you sent; your company replied back stating that a revised resume would be sent to me in 1-2 business days. I have received nothing. I paid 99 dollars for a completed and timely resume to my satisfaction. I have received neither. You will be hearing from Revdex.com within the next couple of days. Thank you 11-*-13

Resume My Career Response: Hi [redacted], Our office is closed at the moment for the weekend. Your information was previously sent to you. Have you checked your spam? Best,[redacted] 11-*-13

Me (Customer): I was waiting to hear back before I file a claim with Revdex.com, but you leave me no choice. Since I still don't have my completed resume, you will be hearing from them. Thank you. 6:43PM 11-**-13

Resume My Career Response: [redacted], We did in fact call you yesterday. Please feel free to contact the Revdex.com - we would be happy to speak with them. We can certainly show all correspondence with you as well. If you prefer to speak over the phone, please feel free to contact me directly at ###-###-####. Thanks! 11-**-13 6:43

I then called to tell [redacted] that I did not receive their phone call and that it was NOT in my spam folder. I told him that I received the first e-mail with my resume attached. He then told me that it was my fault I hadn't received the resume because my e-mail account is outdated. His then told me my resume only required a few changes and that he would get it done that night.

11-**-13 around 7:30PM

Still haven't seen anything! Resume was due November [redacted].Desired Settlement: I want my money back. I did not receive a complete, revised resume. The resume I received was unsatisfactory with errors. The person "[redacted]" has been telling me since Oct [redacted] that it is on its way. Then he continued to tell me that it was my fault that I hadn't received the resume.

Review: I contacted [redacted] with Resume My Career.com to help me re-vamp my nursing resume. I emailed him my current resume and he called me right away to tell me what needed to be fixed. I agreed to pay 129.99 for a resume and cover letter, he then ended the call with me, telling me he would be in touch. I thought he would call me to get more information about me and my work experience but I never heard from him. 3 days later I recieved a resume and cover letter that were completely un-usable. They were overwhelming with rhetoric and did not tell anything about my actual work experience or what I could offer. A recruiter I showed my resume to told me I would never get an interview with that resume. I emailed [redacted] on Monday evening with my concerns that the resume was too long and too "fluffy", I asked for a revised resume that was more generalized. I didn't hear from him so I called him on thursday to discuss the resume and cover letter. He told me there was nothing wrong with the product and if I wanted a more generalized revision it would be another $50. The website and agreement clearly state that all revisions are free and unlimited. I talked to him about this and he refused to revise my resume.Desired Settlement: I am left with a resume and cover letter that are useless to me and I am out $129.99. Since then I have researched this site and seen the complaints against him. I am another victim and I want my money back.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered the resume over a year ago and just now started a job search. I noticed (on the job history) that the city and state I provided had not been entered. Instead, it said 'city*state' in red. I downloaded the attachment and no matter what I did, it stayed red and even when corrected would not print the info. I emailed the company, explained, and asked to have the correct info entered. Their responses, all 3, were that there was no error, I did not have Word (I have the latest version), and that I should have someone correct it if I don't know how. I asked them to call me & it was ignored. Very rude emails blaming me and denying errors.Desired Settlement: I would like them to fix the areas in red that cannot be changed on my end.

Review: I am currently unemployed and I hired Resume My Career.com to write my resume and a cover letter for me. When I called them the first time on 4/*/2013 the customer service rep told me that there would be unlimited revisions to the resume as shown on the website. I proceed to hire them on 4/*/2013 and paid $129.00 for a resume and cover letter; they sent the resume and cover letter and did one revision on the resume. Since then I am having issues with employers I am submitting the resume to telling me there is not enough info about my professional career on the resume. So I called Resume My Career.com back today, 7/**/2013 to get them to revise my resume. I spoke to [redacted] and all he tried to do was berate me and tell me I should have contacted them earlier that there is now a time frame on the unlimited revisions. He also told me that I was sent a email stating the time frame which is 2 months. I tried to explain to him that this was never disclosed, nor did that explanation pop up when I click on a link on their website Unlimited Revisions; all that pops up is UNLIMITED REVISIONS, nothing about a time frame. I asked for him to resend me the email he was referring to, that had the time frame stated in it and I told again him that nothing was ever mentioned to me verbally or written about a a two month time frame. He then proceed to send me a email today 7/**/2013 that was part of a previous email sent to me back on 4/**/2013, the email had a link attached to it, that took me to a website listed a 2 month time limit, BUT the original email it was attached to did not show that anything was attached back on 4/*/2013 when the service was purchased. As I tried to explain to him that this is an unfair process showing one thing "baiting" a purchaser and then switching the process when someone called in to make a revision is unfair and illegal. [redacted] then begun to tell me I was harassing him and not to call HIM ever again. I tried to ask for his managers name but he would not give it to me. So that is why I am reaching out to the Revdex.com, the company shows unlimited revisions for the service I purchased, and DOES NOT disclose a time limit. The company does list a time frame on a different webpage but it is not ever listed in their service agreement or told to the purchaser at the time of purchase. I am now left with payment for a service that was not fully filled and customer representative that will not give me his managers name so I can escalate this up their chain of command.Desired Settlement: Since I do not trust the representative I am speaking to nor will the representative provide me with his managers contact info and since their end product is not sufficient to go with out questioning and their failure to allow "unlimited revisions" as advertised I fell their bait and switch tactics are illegal and immoral and I should be given a full refund so I can get another service to do what they promised to do but did not do!

Review: Paid nearly 170.00 for a resume writing service along with an additional service to distribute the resume to 100 search engines as advertised on their web page, I provided [redacted] with all required information for the resume. He returned a muddled cut and pasted resume that would not be acceptable anywhere , he used pre canned paragraphs that had nothing to do with my occupation, omitted my credentials that are necessary for my occupation , put wrong employment dates. Added activities to my resume that would put my license at risk. I asked for my money back soon after... He responded by saying they do not issue refunds.. The web site offers unlimited revisions. I asked for this and he stated I had waited to long.. No where on the website does it state a statute of limitations, he finally agreed to "glance" at the revisions now he will not return emailed messages or phone calls. This is clearly a web site that is a scamDesired Settlement: Clearly a refund is warranted, along with any licensure they have through the city or state needs to be reviewed or terminated

Sincerely,

Review: I contacted ResumeMyCareer, [redacted], on a Friday, May [redacted], regarding rewriting my resume as I have applied to many jobs with no response, and I figured my resume needed a re-write. I was contacted by [redacted] regarding my resume, when I requested information from his website. I asked him to re-write my resume and update my cover letter. I paid to have my order expedited so I could have my items by Monday, May [redacted], a total of $149.00. What I received was my original resume cut and pasted into a different layout; misspellings, even though I was told the delay to getting my resume on , Monday was due to spell-checking and the editing process; type-o's, commingled career highlights; formatting issues; grammatical errors and lack of industry insight, being that temporary staffing companies have given me recommendations as to what should be on a resume for 2014.Desired Settlement: This company has delayed my search for a job by 5 days and I still don't have a resume that I can use. At this point, I am still waiting for them to 'fix' the errors that should not have been there in the first point. This company is unprofessional and the certifications they have on their website should be revoked. Doing additional homework on this company and [redacted], I have found very disturbing information regarding this company.

Review: On * Nov 2014 , I requested service from this Company to have a Resume done for me. I had trouble paying for the service so I was emailing them back and forth that I was unbale to pay fo the service since Im stationed in[redacted]. The Representative contacted me and sent me a [redacted] invoice for the payment. I paid the Company $239 dollars for the service. I sent him my documnets and then he requested more information from me to help him with the Resume. I have contacted him twice by email on the [redacted] and the [redacted] of NOV and have not received a respond back on any information that they will need to finish my Resume. I have not received the documents. I emailed twice requesting the aforementioned documents. I am extremely disconcerted with the lack of customer services that I have received. Advertising stated it will take 1 to 2 days to get the Resume done. Here we are on the ** Nov and have not recived my desired product.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund from this Company.
