Retail Ready Career Center

Pretty upset with this "school." The concept is nice but the way things a run at this school are absolutely ridiculous My husband just completed this school and from the time he started to right now it has been a crappy experience When he first started his flight to get there was scheduled wrong, so we had to plan around the changes in his flight Whoever schedules traveling should be replaced with someone who actually can read and has common sense, my husbands flight was made to depart from [redacted] , nc not [redacted] , de Seriously how do you get that wrong?! Fast forward to about 2am when he finally got to the hotel that he was supposed to have booked well guess what it wasn't booked so he had to find a way to prove he was attending the school The airline lost his bags so he had NOTHING for the first week Also he had to make up the first day because of this schools mistake! At a week and a half into the school we had a family emergency and he took a leave of absence So again the travel arrangements were all messed up No one scheduled his uber to get him to the airport on time, he missed his flight, and the next flight didn't have a connection flight so he had to take an Amtrak Well guess what the Amtrak was not booked so instead of missing that train he last minute paid for the train We end up coming back to the school together, our family all came with him so we drove from Delaware to Texas He finds out they take ten months of your GI Bill money to have crappy student services and the only good thing given to the students is the one good teacher, Jacob and an iPad, everything else was explained to me as very crappy The hotel they put you in is down right disgusting We had a toe nail in the kitchen, dirty used towels left in the bathroom and dirty sheets on the bed Other students beds had bed bugs!!! Also his driver one morning got rear ended and he went to the ER to get checked out then was told he has to make up the hours he was in the ER! Even though other students who are gone the whole day for an interview do not need to make up the time!!!!!! Now he is done and is sitting for two whole days doing nothing!!!! You would think they would allow the people who are done to leave and start their way home to go to interviews and start working! No one wants to sit in that dang school or go to their "graduation." Absolutely ridiculous they have been I am just so glad he at least had the best teacher that is there who actually cares and has high expectations!!!

This school is a life changer the instructors are amazing and workers are hard workingThey go over and beyond for there school., best choice ever

Okay how can I start this off this SCHOOL is awful the housing sy plus students caught bed bugs KEN IS A JOKE if I had tge power to post audio recordings tbe cirrculum os yrash there is no VA REP on campus they give you hand me dowm tools I toom my compksint to congrexx and the school started retaliating against me because I repprted them to the va plus dallas congressman and colorado congress man whuch they have now launch a investigation if anyone needs help with havong their GI BILL REVERSED due to be played by retail ready career center please contact me and I will walk you on how to my mission is to STAND UP FOR VETS and retail reaxy is a extortion school teacher are bullies and atagonist I wouldnt suggest NO RETIRED VETS come to this SCHOOL they dont have a state of the art labs or nothing clay thompson the director helped as much as possible but so I made a compmaint with the va and congress so they retaliated against me and and terminated my contract

This place is a SCAM
Before I start this know that this is not the complaint of some lazy rd who flunked out and couldn't hack it, the purpose of this is to serve as a warning to stay away and go to a school that's actually worth a damn
For $21,and weeks of your time you'll receive a sub par education provided by instructors who very obviously want to give their all and teach you everything they know but who're threatened every minutes by their supervisors the second they deviate even slightly from the god awful curriculum based off of 3rd grade scienceThe material taught could be shortened into a week at best with little to no loss in contentThe instructors are amazing and can answer any question you can come up with but the thief of an "owner" running the place seems to think he knows better than everyone else around him and refuses to listen to any input given
The school paints itself as "military friendly" and loves to brag about how many of their instructors are vets themselvesThis brings me to one of the points that infuriates me the most, although the owner of the place is a veteran himself he is actively using his school to steal from fellow vets, some of whom are at the end of their rope with no options left, and commit fraudJon intentionally targets veterans knowing full well that someone who doesn't actually watch the cash leave their bank account is far more likely to just write it off as a sy experience and move on after they've wasted their time here rather than raise a red flag, this is the true purpose to staying away from having civilians come to the schoolHe'll fly under the radar and keep the doors open long enough to take in a few million dollars more of the money that my brothers and I risked our lives to earn
