Mr*** Propel does not want to give me credit for the lawyers fees ($1650.00) that they say they paid for taxes on *** *** has no record of that transactionAs I have sent you all the paperwork that reflects that issue I know you are trying but they are holding my house as hostage and I can't do anything about it My next stop will be with the Texas Attorney Generals Office Please get them to remove the $because they did not pay *** *** OfficeIf they (Propel) can produce a copy of a cancel check then I can take that copy to *** *** Office for follow up Please help Thanks

valued customer. We take all complaints and suggestions very seriously. We would like to address each of your concerns regarding your Propel account. You entered into a Property Tax Repayment Agreement with Propel Financial Services on April 5, 2011 for the payment of your 2010 Bexar County property taxes assessed for [redacted]. The basic terms of the agreement are below: ·         Total amount financed was $2, 664. 86 ($2,114.86 property taxes; $192 third-party fees; $358 Propel processing fee) ·         Term: 120 months ·         Monthly payment: $42.67 ·         First payment date: May 15, 2011 ·         Maturity date: June 15, 2021 The existing 2010 tax lien placed on the property by the county was transferred to Propel via the Tax Lien Transfer Affidavit. No additional tax lien was placed on the property. The following will help clarify late charges, third party fees, and county fees added to your account: ·         First payment was made on June 13, 2011 (29 days late) o   Note: All late payments received after a 15-day grace period incur a 5% late fee o   20 late payments incurred late fees since June 2011 totaling $42.45 ·         In December 2012 Bexar County notified you and Propel of a county tax suit filed against your property for subsequent unpaid taxes. o   Propel uses Kohm & Associates to handle all county tax suits involving property on which we hold a tax lien. Third party fees incurred and added to your Propel balance are as follows: n  December 2012 legal fees $155.25 n  February 2013 legal fees $260.75 n  November 2013 legal fees $50.00 On April 11, 2013 your brother, [redacted], came to our office to discuss the account. We offered a payment arrangement to bring the account back into good standing and pay the Kohm & Associates and late fees assessed up to that time. As of June 24, 2013, [redacted] fulfilled the payment arrangement and brought the account up to date. On October 18, 2013 Kohm & Associates received written confirmation of taxes and costs due in connection with your Tax Account [redacted] – Suit No [redacted] (see attached). Propel exercised the right to pay the subsequent taxes and county fees in order to stop the county sale of your property. Propel paid to Bexar County $993.56 for 2012 taxes and $679 for county court costs and fees. However, Bexar County returned the $993.56 (stating that you had made payment arrangements) but kept the $679.00 county court costs and fees due. On October 24, 2013 the $679 county fees were added to your Propel account balance. Regarding the amount you have paid on this account, our records show the total amount of payments made from April 11, 2011 to March 11, 2015 equal $2,734.36 ($811.91 to principal; $1410.43 to interest; $512.02 late fees and legal fees). Propel has never filed suit nor do we currently have a suit filed against you or your property. The late fees ($42.45), Kohm & Assoc. third party fees ($466) and County attorney fees ($679) aforementioned, were added to your principal balance increasing the total amount borrowed to $3,852.31. The current balance on your account as of March 11, 2015 is $2,531.95. Your account is in good standing at this time with your next payment of $42.67 due on March 15, 2015. We would encourage making payments on or before your due date of the 15th of each month. If possible, we would also suggest making more than the minimum payment. Paying more than the amount due prior to the due date could shave months off of your note and eliminate late fees. Lastly, if the [redacted] property is now your homestead and you are disabled, you may possibly qualify for a deferral of taxes from the Central Appraisal District.
