In approximately 1st of feb. I purchased a vent free fireplace model QD 250 T, which worked great for 2months.Then the pilot went out and would not reset.I am very familiar with heating appliances and was extremely disappointed to find the mostly likely culprit is a thermocouple uniquely crafted so no replacement can be used except for pro com parts.When I finally got o talk to a rep. I was assured it was warranteed and a replacement part would be sent asap. It was never recieved and in spite of repeated attempts to call I get this ridiculous recording stating their hours asking to call back during business hours.Now I live in California and I may not be the smartest guy, but I certainly know when I called it was well within their business hours, and now it shows the part I need just so happens to be 'out of stock' and with no one to talk to I can't even get on a waiting list.I have a young lady with two daughters who really depend on this heat and I'm very tired of making promises I can't keep.
Just want the PARTso I can fix the darn thing.
