They informed me that his card was only charged $65. $in charges and $tipI then called him and informed him of thisHe started to argue with me, but I informed him that the hold put on his card would have had to have come from his bank as my credit card processor wouldn’t even send the final amount to the bank until Monday when the Fed was openHe didn’t seem to believe me but said he would call his bank on MondayI have not heard from him since.
I have never seen tips process on weekends but this could have changed since I left the banking industry.
