I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
To understand, you will need to read the emails and the release. I am attaching them.
I was not offered a custom resease without signing the digital release first. (Please see attached email from Bethany on Jan 30.) That would mean there were releases in existence. I was never comfortable signing the digital release. It is contradictory and difficult to understand. I did not feel sure that my pictures would not be transmitted, because it is not clear. I have provided a copy of the release for your review in the attached documentation
After I expressed my concerns with the owner, I received hostility from her. (Please see her emails) Because she told me I could not get my picture taken without signing the release, I asked for my money to be refunded. It's just a matter of good customer service in my opinion. Just because the invoice says no refunds doesn't mean that she can't make an executive decision to refund my money. I believe I should be refunded because it was not until after I paid that I was shown the conditions of the services I paid for. And then her later offer for me to come in and receive some of the services were not acceptable or comfortable. If you read her emails to me, you will understand why. She was clearly unhappy with me, and after the way she talked to me, I did not feel comfortable meeting her and having her do my hair and makeup
She has offered me a voucher, however, I cannot accept that as a refund, because it would involve me patronizing her business. I feel intimidated and uncomfortable with that solution for the same reasons stated above
I would like my money refunded. I am willing to pay for the service charges they received from paypal. I think this is a reasonable request considering the fact that I was asked to pay before knowing the conditions of the release

The customer has received a refund through her credit card company as she filed a charge back, even though she has been given a gift certificate for the full amount and made payment on an invoice that says NO REFUNDABLEThis complain is without merit and untrueThis is now bordering on harassment from this customerShould this erroneous complaint become public on your site I will have no choice but to contact my lawyer and take legal action with this customerI have never had a complaint about my business since opening in 2008.
I appreciate any support and help you can give me in this matter

It is very disappointing and painful to see this complaint
The statements from customer are not trueOur invoices state that the payment is non refundable and non transferable She paid the invoice with this knowledge

When she stated her fears about signing the basic and common photography release, we explained to her that if you click DO NOT SHARE MY PHOTOS, it makes all above null and voidWe can never releaseWe even offered to write up a custom one that would make her happierBut no, that was no sufficient, we spoke with her friends and they had no problem signing the release and tried to speak with herFinally I offered that she could come in to get her hair and makeup done, have snacks and cocktails and enjoy the experience with her friends without the photosShe did not want to do that either(Please see copy of the email)
They received a big discount as they were coming as a group, you must have girls for a basic party packageI allowed only and still gave the discount so for another to drop out this would affect her friend's prices as well
We did everything in our power to make this client happy, but in the end she paid the invoice knowing it was non refundable and still did not want to take us up on our offer of her signing a custom release or coming in without photos
We have since even sent her a gift certificate for the full amount of the packageThat does not seem to help either
