Retro Pro Kitchen & Bath Remodeling

Our experience with this company was awful! Eric, the owner has his own way of thinkingHere's just a few things that happened - We spent approx $150,remodeling our houseTaking out load bearing walls and even putting in a fireman poleHe said they would file all permits needed, however didn't bother to file any permits with the city so the city made them come back out after it was all done and tear out walls so the city could check all the workThis was a huge hassle that lasted for more than a week - He knew we were living in a apartment that we had to be out of my the 17th of March, he said that would give them plenty of time to get the work done, however it was notWe extended our time in the apartment till the end of March and that still was not good enoughWe had to get a hotel room for more weeksThis would have been fine if they would have showed up for work everyday, however there were at least days that they never showed up - He has a way of blaming everyone but himselfHe takes no responsibility for anything and will lie straight to your faceThey came back and fixed a few things, but there are a lot of issues with the work and we are still fixing themExample; we have a new door they put in for us upstairs, which leaks every time it rainsHe said that's just for those kind of doors and it not his problemWe spent a lot of money fixing a door that he should have taken care of - I would say we still have another 8k to spend before most of the issues are fixedI don't think they are all fixable since I would have to tear out the kitchen for that He seems like a nice guy up front, but he's a liar and just wants your moneyHe has still not given us an itemized statement for all work doneHis statement was basically one number per room, nothing broken down So if you are a detailed person and want someone to be on top of things, I would suggest another company The one good thing I can say, most of the guys that came out to do the work were great guysHowever most of the them felt the same way about him as we do

We needed to have two of our bathrooms remodeled; our master bathroom and family/guest bathroomWe had three companies come to our home to give us estimates and ideasEach of the first two sent one person for the estimateI was disappointed after meeting with themBasically, all I received was an estimate price of what it would cost to complete and absolutely no design concepts or architectural ideasI then contacted Retro-Pro and made an appointment with Eric and AngelaThey arrived on time and spent approximately one hour going over the projectEric offered architectural/building ideas while Angela gave design detailsI was impressedThey offered information that I had not previously considered or knewThey explained that all the workers that would be at our home are their employees and that nothing is subcontractedThey gave me an exact price on what our project would cost and we made another appointment to meet at their design studio to go over tile and fixture optionsThey began work on November 14th and the final walk through was on December 22nd, They assigned a Project Manager, Omar, and he was in contact with us daily as to the progress of the projectHe answered all our questions during the construction and addressed any issues or concerns that we hadThe construction crews respected our home by using plenty of plastic sheeting and heavy duty paper to protect our belongings and our floorsAngela and Steve, Project Supervisor, would stop by every few days to monitor how the project was progressingWe now have two beautiful bathrooms that we will enjoy for years to comeAngela’s design talents shine every time we enter one of our bathroomsWe are so grateful that the project was handled start-to-finish with such professionalism and with the utmost respect for our homeThe craftsmanship is second to noneI would not hesitate to hire Retro-Pro again or to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a low-stress, highly-professional company to create a beautiful kitchen or bath environment in their home Happily, Brad B

Retro Pro is a very professional company to deal with They have just completed a major remodel of two bathrooms in my house and I was very satisfied with the planning, construction, detailed final inspection processes and finished product The works crews would call each morning with an ETA when they expected to arrive At the end of each day a meticulous clewould be done The project manager performed periodic inspections while the work was ongoing, and once the work was done, he did a very thorough inspection

We had our shower & bath tub remodeled a few weeks ago & honestly could not be happier Eric, the owner & Angela, the designer, came to our home to meet with us & to give us an idea of length of time for the project & to work on a quote We, then, met with them, along with Steve, the project manager, at the warehouse to see options & to choose the products that we preferred They listened to what we wanted & were very receptive to our requests
The entire team came to our house before the start date so they could discuss what they were going to be doing & to give us the opportunity to meet everyone beforehand It was reassuring to discuss what was expected of everyone before they showed up
We worked mostly with Nestor & Eddie They were both beyond competent & great to work with They were respectful of our time & that they were in someone’s home They were so neat & clean Their work was perfection!

Retro Pro LLC is an amazing company We had a master bath remodel completed in It was the best experience we have ever had with a remodeling company! They exceeded our expectations throughout the entire process We had several other estimates and knew right away that we wanted to work with Eric and Angela Once the project started the rest of the employees and members of their crews were polite and respectful of our property It has been a year and a half and we love our bathroom When we are ready for anymore remodels we definitely know who we will call Retro Pro LLC!!

We had different estimates for our kitchen remodel Most of the contractors that visited our home said, "This is a big job", which didn't instill a sense of confidence When Eric & Angela came into our home, they immediately understood our vision and made it seem almost easy to accomplish After having researched remodeling in our area, the price was in the range of what we had anticipated and very competitive What made them stand out for us, was their shared vision for the project, the in-house crew, and the attention to detail
Eric came up with several ideas for our layout that we had not even thought of and created a truly custom and beautiful kitchen
Omar's craftsmanship and attention to detail made it obvious he has years of experience Any challenges our older home presented, he and his crew handled without issue Omar was very friendly to our kids, and never made us feel like we were in the way in our own home
Angela provided advice on design to make the space feel cohesive with the rest of our house We originally thought pendant lights would make the kitchen feel too small She strongly recommended we go with them, and we absolutely love them
Steve was always reassuring to me when I was having trouble picturing the kitchen during the remodel He was always just a phone call away
We were very happy with our entire remodeling process with Retro Pro If we had to do it all over, we would definitely choose them again The only thing friends and family say when they see our new kitchen is, "Wow!"

We can't say enough great things about this company! We knew it was going to be a little pricier than some of the competition that came out and give us quotes, but boy was it worth it! We called Retro Pro for a master bathroom remodel (We had had several other indoor remodels completed in the last two years and while happy with the results, we were not happy with communication and overall execution.) Eric and Angela came to our home for an initial visit Eric had the great vision of turning our shower and tub area that had a lot of wasted space into a beautiful tiled wet room with the shower area and tub behind glass, making full use of the area We met them at their showroom (amazing, by the way) to select tile, counters, sinks, tub, fixtures, etc., and also met Steve who leads their construction team Eric, Angela, and Steve made another visit before construction for measurements and to talk through process On day one, we met our project manager Nestor We could tell immediately how respectful he was of us and our home, thoroughly covering carpets and furniture to protect them from dirt and dust Throughout the process, Nestor was outstanding at communicating and either he or Steve were immediately responsive if we had a question They estimated week, hoping to finish in They finished in exactly weeks and we are enjoying our amazing bathroom Nestor and every member of the crew was respectful, hard working, and clearly wanted to make sure things were done right Having a major project ongoing in your home can be stressful, but they did everything in their power to make it as stress free as possible We have thoroughly enjoyed our new bathroom and highly recommend Retro Pro to anyone looking for a kitchen or bath remodel -- a great job and great value Our only regret is that we did not call them before our other remodels
