Retro Pro

Retro Pro LLC is an amazing company. We had a master bath remodel completed in 2015. It was the best experience we have ever had with a remodeling company! They exceeded our expectations throughout the entire process. We had several other estimates and knew right away that we wanted to work with Eric and Angela. Once the project started the rest of the employees and members of their crews were polite and respectful of our property. It has been a year and a half and we love our bathroom. When we are ready for anymore remodels we definitely know who we will call. Retro Pro LLC!!

Our experience with this company was awful! Eric, the owner has his own way of thinking. Here's just a few things that happened.

- We spent approx $150,000 remodeling our house. Taking out load bearing walls and even putting in a fireman pole. He said they would file all permits needed, however didn't bother to file any permits with the city so the city made them come back out after it was all done and tear out walls so the city could check all the work. This was a huge hassle that lasted for more than a week.

- He knew we were living in a apartment that we had to be out of my the 17th of March, he said that would give them plenty of time to get the work done, however it was not. We extended our time in the apartment till the end of March and that still was not good enough. We had to get a hotel room for 2 more weeks. This would have been fine if they would have showed up for work everyday, however there were at least 12 days that they never showed up.

- He has a way of blaming everyone but himself. He takes no responsibility for anything and will lie straight to your face. They came back and fixed a few things, but there are a lot of issues with the work and we are still fixing them. Example; we have a new door they put in for us upstairs, which leaks every time it rains. He said that's just normal for those kind of doors and it not his problem. We spent a lot of money fixing a door that he should have taken care of.

- I would say we still have another 8k to spend before most of the issues are fixed. I don't think they are all fixable since I would have to tear out the kitchen for that.

He seems like a nice guy up front, but he's a liar and just wants your money. He has still not given us an itemized statement for all work done. His statement was basically one number per room, nothing broken down.

So if you are a detailed person and want someone to be on top of things, I would suggest another company.

The one good thing I can say, most of the guys that came out to do the work were great guys. However most of the them felt the same way about him as we do.
