Owner did not notify me of this as it is very clear it is compromised and was just covered with butyl tape. Being it was in to be repaired from water damage it wasn't put back to prevent water from entering. The sealing should last at least 3 years and it is difficult to test if it is water proof from spraying a hose on it. Water takes time and enough of it would work it's way in if not sealed properly which it wasn't. The later issues that I addressed was that owner is not honest and lied about repairs of my counter and took my original vintage table without my permission.

This customer brought her trailer into Retroluxe Vintage Trailer Repair in October of 2015.  We did extend an offer for a grace period in which we addressed all the items that she felt needed attention .  She did bring her trailer back with a list of items and we corrected the items on her...

list.  She now states that she was unhappy with some of the punch list repairs.  We are very sorry that this is the case, we would have liked the opportunity to fix those 2 years ago when she brought her original punch list in.  In March of 2017 she again approached us regarding  the leak she now has  near the rear window of the trailer, we did offer to take a look at it at that time and let her know that since it has been over a year and a half since we worked on it that it would no longer be covered in the 6 month warranty period we offered at the time she brought the trailer in.  Again we are very sorry for the issues that are being brought up and it is for this reason that we offer a grace period to our customers in which we can make matters right.  Since a lot can happen to a trailer that is traveling down the road such as road speeds, heat, rain, collision as well as other forms of  damage such as not being stored correctly, we are only able to offer a limited warranty on our work.  We were ready to address her leak issue however she did not accept the terms of our offer.
