Reunion Veterinary Hospital, PLLC Reviews (2)

I called Reunion Veterinary Hospital because of an advertisement I saw for $exam for new clients Before making an appointment I called for pricing for and annual exam with rabies, distemper and heart worm for my year old cocker spaniel I was told the cost would be $ I also told them she needed her ears checked Of course, I expected it to be more for the ears After she got her shots, DrJack B [redacted] briefly looked in one of her eyes and said she had cataracts, which was probably caused by diabetes, so blood work needed to be done Then he checked her ears and showed me on a scope how neglected and infected both her ears were Then I was told her teeth were so bad, they needed to be worked on immediately This all totaled $for the visit Mind you, I was told $ I understand more was done, but if I just total up the annual exam charges, it totals $ Then I was charged $for blood work because her cataracts indicated diabetes and $for an exam using a scope that was used to show me how bad her ears were The other $was for her heart worm medication On top of that, they scheduled surgery for her in days to have her ears cleaned and treated and clean her teeth Nothing was given to my dog for her ears The doctor said that would all be taken care of during the surgery The surgery would be a minimum $ Any extractions would cost up to $each and we wouldn't know until she was in surgery if that was needed Devastated, I stopped at another vet on the way home I paid for another check up and was told my dog did NOT have cataracts, her teeth could use a cleaning, but they weren't that bad and one ear was dirty, while the other was red and inflamed They put some medicine in her inflamed ear and made an appointment for her to return in weeks for an additional treatment if needed DrB [redacted] and Reunion Hospital played on the love of my pet thinking I wouldn't second guess what he said and would pay whatever it cost to make my dog better It's deplorable

I called Reunion Veterinary Hospital because of an advertisement I saw for $15 exam for new clients. Before making an appointment I called for pricing for and annual exam with rabies, distemper and heart worm for my 4 year old cocker spaniel. I was told the cost would be $85. I also told them she needed her ears checked. Of course, I expected it to be more for the ears. After she got her shots, Dr. Jack B[redacted] briefly looked in one of her eyes and said she had cataracts, which was probably caused by diabetes, so blood work needed to be done. Then he checked her ears and showed me on a scope how neglected and infected both her ears were. Then I was told her teeth were so bad, they needed to be worked on immediately.

This all totaled $300 for the visit. Mind you, I was told $85. I understand more was done, but if I just total up the annual exam charges, it totals $120. Then I was charged $120 for blood work because her cataracts indicated diabetes and $20 for an exam using a scope that was used to show me how bad her ears were. The other $40 was for her heart worm medication.

On top of that, they scheduled surgery for her in 2 days to have her ears cleaned and treated and clean her teeth. Nothing was given to my dog for her ears. The doctor said that would all be taken care of during the surgery. The surgery would be a minimum $700. Any extractions would cost up to $150 each and we wouldn't know until she was in surgery if that was needed.

Devastated, I stopped at another vet on the way home. I paid for another check up and was told my dog did NOT have cataracts, her teeth could use a cleaning, but they weren't that bad and one ear was dirty, while the other was red and inflamed. They put some medicine in her inflamed ear and made an appointment for her to return in 2 weeks for an additional treatment if needed.

Dr. B[redacted] and Reunion Hospital played on the love of my pet thinking I wouldn't second guess what he said and would pay whatever it cost to make my dog better. It's deplorable.
