Two representatives of Reunions Unlimited were present at the reunion one hour prior to its start to ensure the proper set up and to coordinate with the caterer and DJ and then remained at the reunion for hours until after check in was completed and dinner was served. This is as witnessed by the staff of the *** *** Nobody ran. We waited until registration was complete, dinner was served, the DJ was consulted, and the bill was signed. Perhaps *** *** did not see us performing all of our duties but we were there. Sometimes we leave the registration table to deal with an issue or to go to the rest room. However, we were there for hours. The employees of the *** *** would know this, especially because we had to call for their security officers to deal with the abusive people at the reunion

The [redacted] reunion was indeed terrible-for us.  People tried to crash, we were screamed at, cursed at and threatened.  Security guards had to be called to control the unruly behavior of some guests who were attacking the staff and trying to sneak in without paying to...

attend.Specifically, in reference to the two complaints, the directions for obtaining the alumni directly were printed on the invitation itself.  Guests who paid and wanted to contribute information (which is at the discretion of each classmate) were given direction as to how to view and download the online directory.  The invitation clearly states that there is an online directory.  Secondly, I would say that the registration staff was experienced in running high school reunions.  Both people have worked for the company for 31 years and have run thousands of high school reunions. They were trying to be polite and helpful but many of the people in attendance were abusive and disorderly.  The records of the hotel will show that security guards had to enter the room to catch a crasher and a screaming, threatening man who was cursing at the people at the registration table.This man is not entitled to a refund.  He came to the reunion and ate the food, listened to the DJ who provided music for four hours, and visited with his classmates at this reunion.  His attendance was paid for.His directory is available online as promised.  He can refer to the invitation to see how to access it.

Review: Reunions Unlimited Inc handled my recent high school reunion (11/8/14, [redacted]). In their advertisement for the reunion, and on their website, they state they will provide an alumni directory and that they will provide "experienced registration staff to oversee every detail of your party". They did neither. The entire event was terrible, with rude staff who literally grabbed the money and ran, but these two items were specific issues they claimed they would provide, but did not.Desired Settlement: Refund, only because "banish them from the face of the earth" isn't a choice. I wish the committee had checked the complaints on [redacted] before they used this company.
