I didn't check their policy because they had some how made the email sent to me that it was a BMO survey and I won a prize for doing the survey It was a choice of prizes and the Retinolla was the only prize left All I had to do was pay shipping Why would I check the policy for something I won? Another concern I have is I phoned mastercard about a charge on my bill and said I tried calling the number for the business and it was not in service The girl at MC asked if she could call so I said sure and she got through and got the agent from Retonilla on the phone for me After the call I tried the number again and could not get through How did the MC agent get through with a number that does not work? Now I see on this Revdex.com site a completely different phone number The other number that does not work is still on their website!! [redacted]

I ordered what I thought was a trial sample of revolve/retinolla and was under the impression I would pay a small shipping and handling charge onlyNo mention was made of any further charges or any auto refill feature at the time I ordered so I was shocked to find rather large amounts charged to my credit card the following monthI will never order from this company again and would definitely not recommend the products

I did NOT order the product and was never made aware that if you send it back in weeks they will retund your money As far as I knew, I was only paying the shipping fee! I have tried to talk to Jane, their Public Satisfaction Officer and there was no admission of advert6ising and no recanting of the bill I am a senior on a pension and would never order a product of this expense She said I should have read everything, but there was nothing said about recieving more product or paying full price for the sample! they are now using www.retinollift.com and www.retinal.com
They posted the offer on twitter.
- free trial offered but there is no email sent or details in the package indicating the how and when to return.
2 charges later and I'm still fighting to get a refund for the second charge, I've returned the product with tracking details to this address. Now have to cancel my cc to avoid future auto charges.

I ordered two trial products from Retinol MD for $5 each which their terms and conditions state, 10-14 days to refund their product for a full refund. They charged my card for $400. I recieved their product on Feb 28th, and sent in my request to return their product on March 11th, at which they denied my refund and only offered a partial refund of $160 instead of the $400 they charged to my card without my consent. I am within their terms and conditions, which states 10-14 days, and they are neglecting to hold to their own terms and conditions and refusing to return entire amount.

Desired Outcome

Full refund of my charged expenses upon receipt of their merchandise.

To begin with we send customers a confirmation email explaining the duration of the trial once an order is placed: Thank you for ordering! We are certain that you'll be pleased with the dermatologist-level awesomeness of *** during your 10 days evaluation period. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.We have clearly stated that this customer is on a 10 day trial period. She received her products on Feb. 28. Not only is she past the trial period but is now past 30 days of the receipt date as well. Her merchandise is opened and used and we can in no way issue a full refund under these circumstances. Our agents attended her case and even offered a partial compensation to settle her complained, something many merchants don't and are not obliged to do.

I had the same experience as others and would rate my experience very negative

I too was [redacted] by this company with a free offer that cost almost 400$. Seemed simple to answer a survey and get a 'free' gift. This happened in November 2016 and has continued until now 2017. After contacting the company at least 3 times nothing has been resolved. I also note that 3 different costumer satisfaction reps have replied with the the same negativity. I guess this company needs many reps to look after this shoddy organization. When the product arrived there was no invoice to make contact as to who or where this came from. Hard expensive lesson learned. [redacted]

I ordered a "free trial" online in the first week of March 2018. After I entered my credit card and mailing address, I had to click on an "agree to terms" button. They then send out the products on March 5th. I did not open the products as they were shipped to my parent's house and I was away in Boston for March break with my kids. Upon my return, I checked my *** charges from my trip but was mortified to find $380 charged on it from Perlelux (charges for Perlelux and Collagenea bottles!). I then immediately called Perlelux who then informed me that terms indicated that if we were not happy with the free trial, it had to be returned within 15 days or we will get charged the full amount of the products. Of course, I, like so many other consumers I am sure, missed this term.

I explained to them that I had not even opened or used the products and said that if I return them within 30 days of when they were sent out, I could get a full refund. I went to the post office immediately because it was a matter of just a few short days that I had to return it from the 30 days that they originally shipped me the products. Because I was at that time, highly skeptical, I took photos of the unopened boxes to confirm seals were not broken/ripped open.

On April 2nd, I get an email saying that indeed they had received my products in time but that "In your case, our returns department confirmed that your product wasn't returned in its original condition and I am sorry to inform you that you are not eligible for a full refund at this time". ***!!! I don't even know what the bottles look like because I never opened the original boxes!

I sent them a response requesting my full money back because I did NOT open the boxes and attached photos at the post office as my proof that their claims were false. No one has returned my email of course.

I then called *** credit card services, where they had charged the amounts. I filed a complaint and *** and for the moment they are going to try to get back the money on my behalf from Perlelux. THis company is *** people and should be shut down. I had to pay for shipping costs twice without even trying the creams, they never advertised that if we didn't return the product the enormous amount of $380 would be charged to the unsuspecting customer and finally, their returns department is *** claiming that products have been used, when they have not. I have many pictures I could prove that their allegations are untrue and false.

Desired Outcome

I would like them to give me a full refund but also shut down their free trial offer. It's sneaky, misleading and also causes tremendous time and grief afterwards to those consumers who fall into the trap and just simply want their money back and cut their losses from shipping costs.

I had typed in a URL to go to a valid website. Up popped a survey from what appeared to be my Internet Service Provider. It said if I answered the survey, I would have a choice of free gifts. Thinking this was real, I responded to the survey and then chose Retinolla as my "free" gift, although there was a $5.98 shipping charge for which I had to give my credit card information. I received the product within a couple of weeks. The e-mails they had sent me confirming my order and its shipping did not say anything more than this. When I got the product, I was a little worried and decided to check their website. There I saw the same offer, but indicating that if I didn't return the product within 14 days, I would be charged the full price of $179.95 on an automatic renew basis. (https://www.retinolla.com/trial.php) As this was not what was told to me, I returned the product immediately (at my cost of $9.95) and had my VISA card cancelled so that they couldn't put any more charges through on it. (There was supposed to be a $1.95 restocking fee as well.) I now doubt the original webpage was from my Internet Service Provider and have alerted them as well. I will try to be more careful in the future.

I ordered what I thought was a trial sample of revolve/retinolla and was under the impression I would pay a small shipping and handling charge only. No mention was made of any further charges or any auto refill feature at the time I ordered so I was shocked to find rather large amounts charged to my credit card the following month. I will never order from this company again and would definitely not recommend the products.

[redacted] I saw the ad on [redacted] under a [redacted] logo and therefor thought it was related to [redacted]. Nowhere did I see that it had to be returned within 14 days to receive a refund if I did not like the product. From what I have seen on this site, the Revdex.com reviews the complaints tries to contact the company and that is the end of it. What can we do from here? [redacted]. Please provide some insight as to what we can do to get our money back and to prevent other innocent people from experiencing this issue.

Perlelux cream advertised Free trail just pay shipping of $5.95. I have tried this type of ad, some are good business not too hungry for money or lie and c and some like Perlelux. As soon as I ordered the cream I called and told the girl(***) that I wasn't well and wouldn't be around to return any thing. I had operation at *** by Feb 9/18.
She said she understood and already blocked my card of any future order. She never mentioned that the order they were sending isn't trial size or free or have to be returned. I live alone and I was in pain for a whole month. When I looked at my *** bill I noticed there were three charges under different names. 1. shipping: *** RS *** for$2.95, another charge under CA *** for $5.95 and third one for $179.95 under C *** C .I was shocked that she never mentioned what the price was and why for one package two shipping charges. I had called right after my order to make sure there is nothing to be returned.
I send them email that I won't accept the charges as I had told them my situation. I already have called my bank and dispute the amount of $179.95. They emailed me back that they credit me $70.00 dollar CD and if I don't accept they put me through their risk department which usually wins 99%. Very intimating email.
I don't know who they are and why different names and a nasty customer service. I had ordered online before and never had this problem. If you open their sites in different ads they say free trial and that is suppose to be and not to send the main item and go ahead and charge. I know 100% nobody would pay for these cream not even 1/3 of the money. This is their trick just to charge people. I don't like their customer service and the way talk to me and their snick charges. I hardly have used the cream and I didn't like it. It is a lie and cream doesn't do anything they claim. No way I pay for it. Even the shipping charge of two for one package is another lie.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I have already dispute the amount through my bank. I don't want any intimating email or dispute by them for the amount or any action by them to get money from me.

I went online on Jan. 31/18 and ordered a trial product from *** - I received this email from them "Your card ending at *** has been charged C$5.95 for S&H" my card was immediately charged for this amount - on Feb. 16/18 there was another charge for $179.95 - I immediately called them and told them I wanted this cancelled and they refused. They said because I agreed to the terms and conditions there was no refund. I went to their website - found this Return Policy and sent this email to them:

This is in your return policy:

7. Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return all products up to 30 days after delivery for a full refund of the initial purchase price (less any applicable shipping and handling charges for our customers
located outside of the 28 EU member states).
Please note that you cannot return goods physically, by yourself. The returns addresses are managed by contracted third party fulfilment agents and are neither manned nor authorized to handle customers directly. Refunds will be
issued only for products returned via mail to the designated return address." They told me I could return if the package was unused for a refund but this was a trial and how was I suppose to try it if I didn't open it. This is their website - *** - this is an email received from them "Please note that since your trial period has expired and you have been using both products you can not return them for a full refund (this email was from ***) - this is their phone number US & Canada: +*** (7 days a week, 9 AM - 5 PM) - I also received this email "The law in Canada states that you can return products within 30 days after you receive them in their ORIGINAL condition" (this email was from ***) - I am 65 years old and just cannot afford this money - I called *** to dispute this charge and was told it's my responsible to pay this - they would not do anything for me. Thank you for looking into this for me - I spoke with *** at Revdex.com this morning and she was such a help - just want to say thank you to her - she's an amazing woman.

Desired Outcome

If I can be refunded this amount, I will be so grateful and thankful to Revdex.com for helping me.

As a "free gift" from a well know company (cannot remember if it was ***,*** or *** and cannot find the site where I signed up), I selected a skin product from Pearlskin. Their "free trial" offer was very misleading as I was supposed to return the product within 10 days of receiving it, if I did not want to be charged the amount that were charged on my Credit card; $179 and $189 for 2x30ml cream. The terms were nit made clear when I ordered these products. All I thought I had to pay for the free trial were the shipping charges. By the time, I realized that these amounts were charged to my CC, it was too late to return the products. $368 is outrageous for 2x 30ml cream. They refused to refund or lower the charges. I cannot find in my Internet history any record of this transaction. The company informed me that I have not familiarised myself with their terms promotional terms and conditions.

Desired Outcome

I asked them to reduce the cost for the cream that I did not return, but they insist that it is too late. I have to pay the full amount of $368 for 60ml of facial cream!

It is my fault for not clearly reading the Terms and Conditions when agreed to them. However the company did not honor them either.

Firstly, they State I have 30 days to try the products before being charged. I received the package on January 23 and noticed the charge on my credit card on February 3, not even close to 30 days.

Second, no where in the T&C did it state the amount to be charged in 30 days. Sticker shock to say the very least that the items were in excess of $400!!

Third, I was informed I would be granted a full refund upon return of the products. Which I did in all the original packaging and shipping materials, visually ensuring the security tape was still intact. (My biggest regret is that I did not take pictures as proof.) I was informed that the products were opened and thus only a partial refund was offered. I asked for verification of open products and received a threatening notice that they win 99.9% of all legal actions. Now, they are saying the warehouse has discarded the products and therefore they do not have any proof of the damage. (I highly doubt they would discard the products in pristine condition as they can be resold.) I received repeated emails stating the exact same thing "We are obliged to take the warehouse report." I understand the company would trust their employees but what about trusting the customer? Without any proof, how does that go, without a doubt, to the benefit of the company?

Fourth, before returning the products I was offered a discount of 50% to keep them. That price still being above my budget, I declined and decided to return. When I received the statement offering partial refund due to open packaging, I was considering having the products returned to me and take the 50% deal. As previously mentioned, they say the products have actually been discarded so obviously returning to me is no longer an option, even if I paid the shipping a second time. (Well actually third since I had to pay the return freight as well.)

I had asked repeatedly via email to be put in contact with a manager, and continued to only receive the stock reply noted above each time from a different Customer Satisfaction Specialist. How can they keep track of my complaint when a different person responds to each email? I was never provided any escalation information.

Growing increasingly frustrated, I decided to take the partial refund to my credit card much to my chagrin, I felt a great fear that if I didn't not take the partial refund, I would literally not end up with any refund at all.

Desired Outcome

I understand internet purchasing is a risk however, I was most disappointed with the customer service and as I mentioned, the mis-trust of the customer. I literally did not even take the products out of the shipping box before return and did visually verify the packaging and security seals were intact before return. I work in customer service and would not treat my customers this way.

On Feb.9/18, I received. Pop-up on my screen indicating that I was lucky # ?(do not remember the #) and was chosen to receive free cosmetic product for completing a *** survey (*** is my phone & internet providers) with a minimum S&H charge of $2.95. I provided my *** No. to accept this billing charge. Then I tried to proceed to check-out but was prevented from going to check-out as another pop-up appeared for another free product to be received for a S&H charge of $5.95 so I accepted this and tried to proceed to check-out and still could not get a prompt for the check-out. At this point, I realized that I could very well be dealing with a *** so I did not complete the transaction to check-out. I thought that this termination of activity automatically would cancel the whole completed *** survey and the application for free product and the S&H charge.

Later, on Feb 9/18 at 4:17 pm, I received an email order conf. No. *** for order no. ID: *** from Collegenea confirming product to be shipped to me. I was shocked.

On Feb 9/18 at 4:52 pm., I emailed by return email that I did not place an order as I did not complete the online transaction and to immediately cancel the order that was populated in their system,

On Feb. 9/18 at 4:12 pm, I also went through the same process when I received a confirmation email for confirmation order ID: ***. On Feb. 9/18 at 4:59 pm I emailed my cancellation again advising that I did not complete an order transaction for the free product that was offered with only a S&H charge of $5.95 for this product through what was supposed to be a *** survey.

There have been numerous back and forth emails since. I was told then that this was trial product (not free product) and that, if I returned the product within the trial period at my expense, I would be responsible for the cost of returning the product.

Collegenea emailed me that the product already had left and that the shipment could not be stopped. This was a lie as, only today, Feb. 15/18, did I receive 2 tracking numbers for 2 shipments that shipped today.

By the way, my *** account was billed for another amount of $5.99 so the total billed was for $14.89. This is a small amount of money but it is the principle of the matter at this point. I do not want a company to get away with *** unsuspecting and naive people.

On Feb 9/18, I contacted *** to advise them that I was ***med. The C/S told me to cancel my *** Card immediately. The S&H charges were already billed to my account.

I entered despite # *** with ***. Apparently it could take up to 2 months to resolve this.

I contacted *** and the survey was not theirs. They said that nothing pull be done to prevent companies from representing themselves as *** online.

Are there no laws to regulate this type of ***?

I also contacted the *** Post Office to ask them to please not accept the 2 shipments in their system. They agreed to notify me and the product will be returned to sender without even having been delivered.

I think I have explained this incident as well as I can. One small mistake and I have been living a nightmare trying to get Collegenea to co-operate and stop their illegitimate pursuit of trying to send and bill me with product I did not order or want once I realized that it was not free.

I just hope that the actions I have taken will protect me from further ***. Even though I cancelled my *** no., I still am worried that there is a way for this company to continue with their ***.

I am a senior citizen living on only approx. $21,000 yearly income. I never would dream of paying $160 for cosmetic products so I certainly also would never agree to order any.

I also requested from the various Customer Satisfaction Specialists (this title is a joke) to provide me with the name of the president of the company with no result.

Desired Outcome

I want to never hear from them again and I want a credit issued to my *** account immediately.

Customer Response • Feb 28, 2018

Further to our conversation a few minutes ago, I am confirming that the Dispute Department of *** contacted Revoluxe & Retinolla about the $14.89 ($5.99, $5.95 & $2.95) shipping and handling charges *** billed to my *** account. The company agreed to credit my *** account and the charges were credited on Feb. 23/18, which I just noticed today in my online banking.I do not recall if I mentioned that I contacted the *** Post Office to stop the delivery of the shipment for product that I did not order in the first place and that I was successful in accomplishing this. The Post Office did not enter the shipment into their computer system and notified me when it arrived; therefore, I was able to go to the Post Office and have the staff re-label the shipment and it was successfully "returned to sender" without my having to pay shipping charges to return it.By the way, in the numerous back-and-forth emails with Customer Satisfaction Specialists (the title is a joke), they kept insisting that I would have to accept the delivery of the shipment and then return it at my expense.I cannot emphasize enough the hell I went through with this company because I naively thought I was completing an online *** Survey with the promise of free product for doing so. Thankfully, I realized before completing the online transaction that I was dealing with ***; but, nevertheless, not soon enough to have S&H charges billed to my *** account because I foolishly provided my *** number. It was a small amount of money even for an old age pensioner with no savings but it was the principle of the matter. And, to think of how much worse this situation could have been for me.I really feel sorry for those who *** were billed for product, etc. especially after a *** customer service rep told me that she was *** similarly a few years back and that many people go through similar experiences.Thank you for your time. If I can be of assistance with any other information, I will be only too happy to do so.Regards

I ordered the product on 7th of January. The items were shipped on the 8th of Jan/2018.I initially refused the product, the response was that the products were already shipped, but I can return it within 10 to 14 days, I can also use the products as much as I want, but I have to return them within 14 days.I wrote to them about the charges and I asked to return the products I requested to return the order on the 18th of Jan. The claim was not acknowledged , and my request was ignored. I was also told previously that I need to let them know how to return the products, which I tried to do. No success. After several e mails I finally received the return address. I never touched any of the products and I resealed the same box. I sent it. I got a response that it was not in the original condition. The only damage done was to the box, which was resealed. I got an e mail that it (whatever it was) was not in the original condition and they cannot reimburse the money. I asked for proof of the damaged goods and the reply was yesterday (Feb.12/2018) that as soon they get damaged articles they destroy it. I have a dispute resolution with my bank and I will fax them your evaluation. So far I have app.30 pages of email exchanges. Should you have any more questions, please get in touch with me. Thank you

I would like to have a full refund plus all the postage charges that I spent on returning the parcel. I do not to intend to stop here, I am making inquiries in a small claims court. The amount to be refunded is $179.95 plus $189.94. plus $14.00 for shipping. I *** be a senior citizen, but I do not let things go by me without fighting for my rights. Looking at the history of this business, it is obviously a *** enterprise, which should be shut down and fined. I do believe in the Canadian Justice system and I hope you will take action against businesses like this one. Unfortunately, with this experience I will probably never order on line again.
