RE: *** ***On 7/3/we installed a *** tankless water heater (against our recommendation) for *** *** at *** *** *** ** ** *** *** **.She did not contact us about any issues or for a cleaning of the unit until January of Between the time of install and our service
call on 2/6/we have no way of knowing what work or maintenance was or wasn’t done in that gap of timeThe reason for the 2/6/service call was that tankless water heater "***" is not consistently giving out hot water, sometimes its warm water and sometime they just get cold water.We found the problem to be a pressure balance shower valve that was allowing a cross connectionWe had to special order the part and scheduled a time to return to replace itWe returned on 2/14/with the partIt was installed and we check/diagnosed the water heater to make sure everything was in working orderOn 2/20/*** set up an appointment for us to come over and go over the water heater issuesWhile we were there we spent at least 2-hours on line with *** tech supportHe found a corroded sensor & that the venting was on an adjacent wallHe cleaned the sensor and removed the pipe per ***’s tech supports recommendationOn 2/25/we received an email (attached) basically saying that because of the service call on 2/20/“it now appears to be functioning.” But that she was disputing the charges for fixing itI have more attachments it would only allow fourShe later schedule another appointment for 2/28/that she cancelled saying she was going to have her husband go over and call *** and see if they could find a solutionWe never heard back from herI attempted to call her and left voicemails and even emailed her on 3/14/to ask if *** had been able to pin point the problem and never heard back from herIt was not until I sent out her second statement dated 5/26/with our past due notice that I received any communication from her basically saying she had no intention of paying any of her billsAlso that *** had said that the unit was installed in correctly & just needed to be cleanedSomething *** had never conveyed to any of our techs when they called tech supportThen she threatened that her tenant was going to post a negative review on *** but she convinced him not toIn an effort to put this behind us we are will to reduce her bill down to $(from $1109.78) to cover the cost for ordering and replacing the shower cartridgeThis will need to be paid in full in the next business daysAttached you will find a copy of all of her invoices, statements and email correspondents
