I am technically not rejecting the response fully as I have an appointment with the dealer on 10/01/16 to replace the faulty part. I would like to close this complaint or potentially extend it after the appointment, depending on how the repair goes. Thank you.

nice talking today regarding the customer [redacted]. To bring you current, the customer complaint is 100% based on a manufacture recall and is not directly related to our store. We have completed one airbag for the driver side and are still waiting for the passenger side to arrive from Honda. The parts are ordered by vin number and have been a controlled item on Honda's part. We will do our best to watch and see if we can locate a part that was ordered for another vehicle and have it installed in his. American Honda has a strict policy on Handling air bag recalls. They were giving rentals to customer with Driver side air bag recalls but not passenger.  University Honda can not start to give out Rentals to customers when American Honda refuses. It is a top priority for University Honda...

as well American Honda to handle these recall a quickly as possible.
