Rey's Used Appliances

I went to Rey's used appliances and gave him a deposit of $300 and my stackable washer and dryer with the agreement that I would give him another $300 when they deliver the ones I asked him for. He promised I would have them in 2 days. However it took him 2 weeks to deliver them. To make things worst he brought the wrong ones and they didn't even work. My husband called him and told him we wanted our money back. He refused saying he would have to talk to his so called brother who is the owner. He had come over and he checked the washer and dryer and called someone saying those are not the ones. He took those and brought me another set until the other set came from Hartford CT. Well the ones he brought to replace the ones he brought first didn't work either. He came a couple of times to fix them but nothing. Everytime my husband called him he would tell him he's waiting for a part meanwhile I still haven't gotten the ones I really bought. So I decided to take him to court and I'm anxiously waiting in which is coming very soon. So my advice to anyone who's come across this individual and has the same issues. I'd say court would be your option. He does not want to budge for anything. He's business is not even register in city hall. I went to West Springfield and Springfield city hall and there's no such business existing. This guy is a fraud likes to take people's hard earned money and run with it.

Fridges were non working plus full of maggots. Oven fan dosent work nor were fixed Date of purchase on used appliances of fridge & stove was in [redacted] 2015. Paid in cash for [redacted] Stove was never installed for us had family member installed it. Oven is a safety hazed since it has a wire sticking out of it and can be burned when cooking which the technician said its no issue. When he decided to fix our oven fan he didn't check the oven and turn it on while I had a pot of oil in the oven which could of caused a fire hazed and damages. The oil spilled all over the oven by the time I realized it. The fridge was non working. Freeze was fixed but for only 1 day than it broke down 2nd time the so the technician came out and fixed it. About 2 days after the whole fridge stopes working. So far within those days we lost out on our food which had spoil. They offer us a 2 used fridge which we accepted. Which they choose the fridge for us and we gladly accepted it since we were glad it matches our kitchen. The fridge was dirty but they said they would clean it.They dropped off the fridge on the [redacted] of [redacted] 2015. I decided to clean it and come to find it the fridge was full of insects looking like maggots which I did take a photo of everything. I had to go to [redacted] to buy a kitchen bug spray to spray underneath the fridge just incase they infect my home. The insects inside the fridge were not killed since that's evidance that the fridge was never cleaned. It's really unsanitary for this business to sell used appliances that they can't clean or even have it in a good used condition. They were suppose to pick up the yesterday the [redacted] of [redacted] 2015 but chance her mind and said they had deliveries so they can't and offer for pick up today the [redacted] of [redacted] 2015. No one show to pick up the fridge as of now with it still sitting in my kitchen with the insects inside. It's very upsetting that they aren't profess at all and we always have to work around their time & schedule!!!!Desired SettlementWe would just want our refund of [redacted] back cash and they can take the non good used condition appliances back.

Won't come fix itReceived refrigerator on [redacted] worked great doesn't work now stopped working on the ** they told us someone would come out the ** no one showed we've been calling since then all they keep saying is someone will call us back in the meantime we lost all our food that was in the freezer no one will call us no show up there is no cash refund but in the case I feel they should refund us our money for us loosing all our food.this is unacceptable can you please help us get our money backDesired SettlementWe want all our cash that we paid for it returned to us
